All in all it's just another brick in the wall...

How to Play

Playthrough idea or how it should workout:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
? Hopefully on your first draw you get at least 3 mana of some sort. Your gonna want to have green and blue available to start getting walls out and stop any enchantments/artifacts they might summon with [[Naturalize]].
? Once you get a couple walls out and they aren't destroying them then you should be fine until you get your enchantments out. You're going to be playing the D on this one until you can lay your [[Rolling Stones]] or [[Assault Formation]] down.
? Around the time those enchantments come out you want to have already started ramping up your walls with [[Hydra's Growth]] to get them ready for attacking. Just to add salt to the wound you can play [[Tower Defense]] to tack on a extra +5 to def.
? After that it should be all over and wham, bam, thank you mam. You just got defeated by walls.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S.- Feel free to throw your 2 cents in and help me tweak this deck to make it faster and cheaper. I'm not familiar with all the cards out there. So any "better" recommendations would be appreciated.

Deck discussion for Defense is the best Offense

Personally I would sideboard Naturalize, normally you don't have to deal with artifacts/ enchantments in every match. [[Hydra's Growth]] sounds like overkill to me, especially when you have Assault Formation on the battlefield. A single Wall of Denial will need 3 turns to defeat an opponent, while Hover Barrier needs four, so [[Hydra's Growth]] will make nearly no difference.
I would also replace Rolling Stones with Arcades, the Strategist or High Alert as they not only allow your creatures to attack but also bring the toughness-bonus of Assault Formation to bear.

Further suggestions:
Axebane Guardian...not as tough, but can serve as mana-fixer. Tough you may want to add a mana-sink to use the mana produced with him. Overgrown Battlement would be another variant, quicker, variant tough it only produces green mana.
Order of the Stars... one of my favourite defenders, not real tough, but hard to deal with.
Stalwart Shield-Bearers...again, not really one of the toughest defenders, but gives all your other defenders +0/+2
Drift of Phantasms...can help you to get cmc3 mana cards in your hands.
Seaside Citadel...to solve mana-problems.
Indomitable Ancients, Bar the Door, Slagwurm Armor, Wall of Reverence, Wall of Shards, Favorable Winds

Thanks for the recommendations. I test played this deck the other day and realised I needed a way to get more mana out for it to work well. Hadn't played against a bunch of types of decks just an exile nightmare deck. I like the idea of replacing Rolling Stones with High Alert even though it's multi color and 1 more CMC. I will prolly throw in some Seaside Citadel to help with mana and swap out Naturalize for some kind of cheap counter spells. I noticed I need a more diverse card for interrupting their plan before I get mine going and Naturalize wasn't cutting it.
I will try and play test this deck a little more against different types to see how well it works. I wanted to keep the cheap big toughness walls and stray away from smaller walls but depending on how tough it is to get those out and keep them out without special abilities, I might have to rethink it.
Again thanks for the recommendation.

What decks does it do best against? Just curious because I'm not too well versed or educated at this game. Mainly because I don't play it enough only casually play with my Dad and Brother.
