Deck discussion for Pondy's first deck W/B STD

I'd love to hear feedback on this deck, I'm a keen NOOB who wants to learn!

What do you want your deck to do?
The thing you've got now isn't focused on anything which is reducing its strength greatly.
B/W can do distrubtion, aggro, control, midrange, tokens, which one do you like the best?

Btw I LOVE that your deck is 60 cards and has fixing, 80% of the noob decks I see have 70 or more cards and no fixing at all, and if they do they have 20 lands t 60 spells.

mostly i'm utilising the cards that I have from Pre-release and trying to draw cards quickly and gain life while hoping to get Liliana out there. With luck I will test it out at FNM this week, it will be it's first outing. I am willing to invest further in this deck but with budget in mind still so any suggestions will be awesome :D

This won't work at fnm, I don't want to discourage you or anything but this won't do.....so I'll build it into a midrange deck with like a 50 or 40$ budget, midrange is the easy to play and can be built for cheap most of the time.
Just tell me if you want lifegain to be a part of it.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm curious about what won't work with it? I believe you of course but so I understand if it is the mana curve, the cards, the lands, the [insert more noobness here].

as for improving this deck i'm not concerned about lifelink or otherwise, i have a number or renown cards sitting there all lonely, possibly wanting to be played with...

The cards are what won't work, at fnm people play refined decks and this deck is built from what you opened meaning it's not refined BUT you should go cuz:
You have a game store that holds fnm and other events, I'm from Slovakia and I have NOONE to play with and I'd give all the money I have at my disposal for a game store where i could play and meet new people who play.

People there WILL help you, if you go with this deck they will tell you what and how you should improve and you'll see what other people play and maybe you'll like something and you'll make a new deck. Plus you'll learn a lot of new stuff and I mean A LOT of new stuff.

I'll try to build a midrange deck and a new renown aggro deck with a 50 or 40$ budget for you, here are orzhov (black white) decks for standard i built in the past:

THE SIDEBOARDS SUCK! cuz i don't update them at all.

Pls excuse any mistakes, I'm used to writing on a normal keyboard but I got a new laptop and I'm getting used to the keyboard.

thanks so much for your help. our local game store hasn't been holding FNM until this coming friday because there are a few of us making some noise :D. We are hoping to get 8 players there at least for a bit of fun competition. I'll have a good look at those decks and see what I can do to build this one up. I'll go along with this deck and see how it performs and I'll then understand better it's failings and how your suggestions will improve it.

Thanks again!
