This was my first ever EDH deck that I built shortly after the Commander Pre-cons came out. I had a "Fear the Church" 60 card deck that revolved around Deathbringer Liege and detain effects. After my playgroup turned into an EDH playgroup, I tried transforming my "Fear the Church" into a Teysa, Orzhov Scion EDH dubbed "Fear the Church MK. II" It sucked. Hard. It was token production, true, but at the same time I tried to use only Orzhov Watermark cards. It failed. I tore it down, lost hope, and made a Teeg EDH deck. After that deck got old I went back to my gal. I rebuilt Teysa as "Fear the Church MK. III" and finally found my rhythm. After building it so many times, and working with Teysa, I began to understand her abilities and what exactly they could accomplish. I researched various other decks on here and MTGSalvation. I then added my own flavor to fit my playgroup. We limit ourselves to One-Infinite per deck, and Mine is the typical Teysa + Blasting Station + Darkest hour + Random Black Creature = Infinite Damage. This deck has numerous other non-infinite combos that I discovered through playing such as Teysa + Reassembling Skeleton + Field of Souls + Phyrexian Altar = 2x Spirits per cast for as much mana as you have. With 6 mana you are getting 12 spirits a turn, plenty to keep the board on lockdown. A MTG article was posted a while back discussing how decks were an extension of a players personality. Board Control, Sacrifice, Token Beats are all extensions. The desire for control over everything in your life/personal area, sacrifice to get something better, 100 small things are better than 1 large. All fits me. Also, Black-White are my colors that I identify with.Anywho. I appreciate comments and constructive criticism to help this deck get better.
