Deck Description

I want to give credit where credit is due so I should thank Zach for planting the Biovisionary idea in my head. He only named the card and said out loud that he wanted to come up with a way to abuse the card. What he did not know was that I was already in the beginning stages of hatching this deck and almost ready to put pen to paper. I just jumped in front of him and found a way to abuse the card first.

How to Play

This deck has lots going on but at first it kinda lulls players into thinking all I am going to do is mass ramp. But if you let a few turns pass you will find out this deck should have been the target all along. Biovisionary + clone is one way to win the other way to win is a little bit more complex. It uses Holistic Wisdom and Time Warp or Stretch but there is more to it than that. Early game if you draw into a extra turn card it would be best to discard it and there are ways to do that of course you just have to hope no one exiles your grave while one or both are in there. If you can manage to save them from graveyard hate then you need the Wisdom. There are so many sorceries in the deck you should have one or more in your hand and if the Wisdom is out and there is a already played or discarded extra turn card in the grave you need to pay the 2 colorless cost on the Wisdom remove a sorcery from the game to return a Time Stretch or Warp back to your hand. If you don't have anymore sorceries in your hand you will have to hope you draw one on the extra turn and commence locking other players out of turns due to your near infinite turns.

Deck discussion for edric

Lol...yeah...beat me to the punch alright! This deck does work, but it fails to graveyard hate and targeted removal. The one turn drop and win is the way to go with this beast and the mana ramp makes that easily possible.

I love this deck.

I have been mulling it over for a while now, seeing how I could make it my own, but generally I like the way you have playing out here. Do you run it regularly, I'm curious if it goes off.

I have wanted to do something similar to this and am working on a Damia deck that kicks out Biovisionaries like crazy. It needs a lot of work before it is getting posted though.

There are a couple cards that I think might be fun. Cackling Counterpart seems to be missing. just another clone spell. And with the repeated turns, progenitor mimic could pump out some Biovisionaries.

Oh and Helix Pinnacle for kicks. That way, even if nothing else is going your way, you can still use ramp to dump mana into a win.

Well I don't have it together anymore but when I did it was a joy to play with and yes it did go off in more than one game. I had a crazy turn with this deck it involved near infinite mana with palinchron and deadeye navigator with a mystic speculation in hand. I could have set my entire deck up ftw but decided not to be that guy and passed turn. I like your idea about adding pro mimic, when I built the deck that card was not one I could choose because that set was not released at the time. Damia looks like a fun general and she would prolly work well with biovisionary. I am at the computer at my local library today, my internet is having issues so this is all you are going to get out of me today. These computers are kinda gank so when my internet decides to play nice I will possibly add more to this discussion.

Yo, how goes it zach? Since I have not played since the god cycle was around (about a year) perhaps you can help me with a substitution. I am actually glad the primordial struck out, finally took long enough.

Im great and you? Yeah...it was way too good. Woodfall Primus would be a good one. Terastodon is also decent. Those are probably the best substitutes for primordial. To be honest, I haven't been playing much edh myself. I had been going down to valdosta for drafts and game days, but the shop there closed. Now im stuck playing (when I can) at the tifton shop. Mostly standard, modern, and tiny leaders.

I have been better. One of those subs should work out well, thanks. I am sure you are still beating face. Are you still with the same playgroup in Tifton? If so does it consist of the usual suspects? Have you managed to get some fresh blood to smack around? I will have to do some digging so as to find out what tiny leaders is.

Tiny Leaders is sort of a blend of edh and legacy. I really don't hear from anyone any more. I hang out at jjs and have been able to build up a new group of folks there. Mostly just a lot of standard players though. Hope things turn more positive for ya! Let me know if you swing through tifton
