Jorga is cool but you need to spend 10 mana to get her ultimate ability, which is mana that could have in theory been spent more productively, however just leveling her up once does pay for itself after three uses.

However on the other hand, her level up is not a tap ability, so if Doubling Season is in play, spend two mana, shes level, two, use her new ability, put another two in the mana pool, spend it, she is then level 4, so its in theory a possibility

Journeyer's Kite can be dropped for Sol Ring
Condemn can be dropped for Mana Vault

I get what your saying, nobody here has caught on to the fact that Snow-Lands are so much better for that reason, but building to your meta is also best

For lands just drop the amount of plains you have slightly, then fill in the other lands, you'd be dropping 6 Plains total, but the mana you get for it makes it worth all the while.

Because a good portion of your lands come in tapped, Amulet of Vigor might be slightly more better than Staff of Nin, the card doesn't do enough for 6 mana with how quickly it will get destroyed.

Keep the deck at 99 cards including your commander and keep each other circle of protection on the side, and pick your second circle based upon which ever is the main color of your opponents deck, just incase your turn everything white plan fails. I still dont see anything that converts all opponents creatures to white as well, and nothing past end of turn...

I get what you mean about the Anthems

if the side column says Legal in Legacy, your doing it wrong...

Just kidding, but yeah this thing needs some mana rocks, Sol Ring, Mana Vault are both really great options

Land Wise. add in Ancient Tomb, Temple of the False God, and fetch lands for thinning, then switch all your plains to Snow-Covered Plains so that nobody but you gets the bonus from an Extraplanar Lens.

:ast but not least, Honor of the Pure and Spear of Heliod are legit options as well.

Since this is only legacy Legal, Rofellos would be a great addition as would Priest of Titania

Doubling Season is also highly recommended

yeah the looting goryo combo seems to be a meta thing, i havent seen it here, but yeah in the red version, id drop the mircales, but the R/U version keep all 4

It can provide the same flexibility but if you've got 3 lands and a noxious in your hand, do you really just want to put another burn spell on top of your deck or would you rather than Noxious be a burn spell that is dealing more damage to your opponent

I never used the Noxious Revivals in the mono-red deck, they are only there for the Miracle cards, but the R/U versions works a lot better and the miracle happens, so Noxious Revival is brilliant in it, esp since you can use Snapcaster to flashback Revival for 2 life, and all the draw power puts everything in place perfectly, 4-0 on Friday didn't even need to sideboard, match ups were:

Round One: Tron 2-1
Round Two: Splintertwin 2-0
Round Three: Dredge: 2-0
Round Four: Jund 2-0

Sideboard Was:

4 Dismember
4 Pyroclasm
3 Relic of Progentitus
2 Skullcrack

So what I have managed to establish is yes, if you are going mono red just drop Noxious Revival and Thunderous Wrath for more burn power. R/U works a lot better however.

With that, I am heading back to the real world where I run my Splintertwin for days no more experiment decks for awhile :P

Sorry I didn't respond right away, midterms, anyway I didn't built the right sideboard, which killed me final match up (Affinity) which I def wish I had Pyroclasm for, Elves was a hard match up without Pyroclasm just because I'm wasting all my burn on dorks, but finally got there with Kiln Fiend *sigh of relief*

Sideboard:

4 Dismember (since PTQ I fear Kiki-pod)
3 Skullcrack
3 Tormod's Crypt (was for Dredge but Relic would have been better choice)
2 Ghost Quarter (which does nothing to help you in any scenario except Tron)

It's hardest match ups are Affinity (impossible without sideboard, and probably hopeless with it too), Elves, and Tron. Tron simply because of how fast it is, its a damage race at that point, can you kill them before Wurmcoil/Eldrazi/Karn kill you.

The medium match ups are Soul Sisters (Lifegain) just because they gain so much life, but if you can get the jump on them and aren't afraid to drop a few burn spells first couple turns, your good.Skullcrack is my answer for this. Splintertwin was a medium match up with all of my games going 2-1, just because with good draws, Splintertwin can get the jump on you, very qucikly. Same goes for Kiki-pod (though I didn't see Kiki Pod that week)

Easy match ups are other RDW, Goblins, Slivers (who actually runs Slivers in Modern was my question but it was done in my round 1 game).

Thursday Night Practice:
Round One: Soul Sisters (1-2) Put in Sideboard: Skullcrack
Round Two: Tron (0-2) Put in Sideboard: Ghost Quarter
Round Three: Dredge (2-1) Put In Sideboard: Tormod's Crypt

FNM Results:
Round One: Slivers (2-0) Future Sideboard: Pyroclasm
Round Two: Elves (2-1) Future Sideboard: Pyroclasm, Relic of Progentius (Deathrite Shaman is a thing)
Round Three: Splintertwin (2-1) Future Sideboard: I'm stumped here
Round Four: Splintertwin (2-1) same as above
Round Five: Affinity (0-2) Future Sideboard: Pyroclasm, any cheap artifact hate I can find

The biggest problem with his list, the "Mircale" NEVER happens. So this week I am building the R/U list I put in his comments and using what I got out of last week for sideboard tech.

you need more goblins, Slusher isn't enough bang to have just him for the grenades, plus his ability can be Plithing Needled (Could be spelling wrong) but the combo you listed above this comment is so vulnerable to counterspells, Relic of Progenitus, Tormod's Crypt etc. that outside of the kitchen table this deck wont see too much play

This deck IMO is awesome, unless u wanted to keep it cheap, fetch lands to thin out the deck are good idea, if wanting to keep it cheap, Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse are good.

To make Modern legal, I'd also use Serum Visions and Remand

Hallowed Fountains are about 15.00 a piece so they indeed are a little pricier but they have the advantage of being shocks, so if they are you opening hand them followed by a glacial fortress leaves you pretty much mana fixed. Adakar Wastes is useless because while 2 life up front for an untapped land is ok, the constant life loss for mana fixing is not, especially if aggro gets the jump on you

Norn's Annex, this way they are forced into White mana or life as apposed to just mana.

I know you want to keep this budget, however Hallowed Fountains, even Glacial Fortresses or Seachrome Coasts are better than a guildgate, and Path to Exile is a real thing to even if it is a little pricey.

Overall I like this build, props.

PS maybe consider Silence and Telepathy

In fact a Shrine to Nyx might be what the doctor ordered for some of your higher casting cards, if your devotion is 4 or higher, Shrine typically nets better mana than any one land in Standard/Modern
