Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Ancestral Recall are all Restricted to 1. Just pointing it out now, and i doubt you have the money to buy 4 Recall anyhow. Also, Intuition is an amazing card. Just grab 3 of the same card and they are forced to give you the card you want, it would be pointless to take it out. You should run just 1 set of a Specific Pact, pry the Negation cause its the most helpful in your deck.

It was designed by Mark Rosewater, and yes it did have a overshadowing Black theme to it. Most of the better cards werent Black, but the set was designed to focus on the oppression and hate thats goes with Black. Slivers werent the main focus either, if it was, it would have been horrible.

This is really good in Extended. What do you use against Hexmage and Dark Depths though? You could easily splash in some Path to Exile to deal with em. Im not seeing your sideboard so you probably have an asnwer for it anyway. +1

With Grindstone at about $30 and Intuition at $20 you start to see why its so expensive. Wasteland is a $10 Uncommon.

Throw some kind of Manland in here, like Mishra's Factory or Faerie Conclave to get your extra bits of damage in while you can. +1

Where are the old school man lands at? The better ones like Treetop Village, Nantuko Monastery, Mishra's Factory, and Faerie Conclave? Those are the best and most played.

If you wanted to go Red Burn for the win.... why not play another deck all together? Its called Burning Bridges. You use Ensnaring Bridge with LOTS of bur, so you run your hand down quickly. Its alot better than Kazuul.

Yeah thats it! Fucking stupid card. I cant believe they would print that, its probably seen more play than any other Equipment besides the Jitte.

Sligh (mono red) is more about good creatures than winning with Burn anymore. The Burn is more or less just backup unless you can win. Goblin Guide, Grim Lavamancer, Ball Lightning, Keldon Marauder (Awesome, 2 for 5 Damage), Jackal Pup etc etc. If you use Burn to mainly win, you get into a problem of card advantage, your creatures can deal more damage than a burn spell can. I have my Sligh deck posted.

Yeah it was pretty nuts, I have other What You Need lists on my Profile if you wanna look. Unfortunately, not ALL the cards for Affinity are in Mirrodin. You need Ravager and the Equipment that escapes my mind at the moment.... kinda making me wonder. It gives +1+0 for each Artifact you control and its really cheap to play.

Yeah, it sucks. When I first started I just traded alot and just bought the stuff I knew was good no matter what like Dual Lands and such.
