Shawn of the Dead is awesome, I remember everyone in High School saying it was shit until it finally came out on DVD and then all a sudden saying it was a good movie while myself and a few my buddies already saw it while having people say it was garbage to us. I should go out and buy that now that i think about it.

Missing the key cards that make the deck work on: Lion's Eye Diamond and the tutor out of Dissension. Lion's Eye Diamond is what makes this deck work and that tutor. Also, missing white for Orim's Chant. +1 at the attempt, most of the stuff is here.

Yeah, you definetly start to see a shift from creature control and more towards spells being played and used more. Makes the game feel less Yugioh or Pokemon, and more adult.

I would say, drop the Bear theme unless you have 4 foil Grizzly Bears and just go with Green Stompy. Harvest Wurm plus Rogue Elephant combo from way back when.

Great set, great deal of amazing cards! Invasion is the set that put Magic on top of the gaming world. It brought most of the new players in to the game, providing the 2nd generation of Magic Players. I myself am a 2nd Generation player, this set is what intrigued me so much to get into Magic. The awesome story, flavor, artwork and powerful cards all mesh together to make an amazing set. Sets like the Urza Block, Invasion Block, and Ravnica Block are what have made Magic in to the top seller that it is today.

Invasion? Yeah I can do it. Suicide Black I have not really seen much of in Standard. In Standard I am not much a fan of mono colored decks because they do not really have enough staying power on their own to handle the enviroment. 2-3 color decks usually are what make the cut but I am not saying it isnt possible. Firemane Angel costs to much, the most ive seen it played was Extended.

Except not, because you have to WASTE room in your deck to play the amulet that doesnt provide any card advantage. Its not good, its actually worse. Unless your using it do some combo, its horrible. It makes no sense to use it just to 'fix' your lands. You want good lands? Get some Revised Dual Lands or get some Ravnica Shocklands instead of wasting space. The best card in the set is a common and its Treasure Hunt. Just putting that out there NOW so its out of the way.

Treasure Hunt + Manabond or Life from the Loam

It completely replaces Mulch in 42 Land and makes the deck stronger than it already was in Legacy.
Case Closed.

I would run, for you since your playing straight blue: Mindbreak Trap, Relic of Progenitus, Propoganda, and Stifle. Something for everyone there. You could add more Jitte though like you have now because that card is just..... ugh... its fucking stupid lol!

Yeah, you play what I use to play. Powerless Vintage right? No Power and people can play the INSANELY expensive stuff.... but who has it? lol We went to Legacy, lot more affordable for people who cant afford some things in Vintage, I consider Dual Lands and Fetchlands a MUST so..... some people didnt like it and we moved to Legacy where they still are key to everything and I still have yet to understand the argument of moving to Legacy.... when its JUST AS EXPENSIVE lol.

When it comes to Legacy, there are certain strategies you sideboard for. Graveyard (A MUST), Artifact and Enchantment (A MUST), Aggro (Depends on where and who you play usually), and Combo (A MUST). Always think like that, I usually keep my sideboard down to 5 Different cards at MAX but going 4 of a single card is perfectly fine. 1 and 2 are just so hard to get especially when you need em badly.

In deed, and your right. Its not all about what you like, theres more to liking a card than just art. I love effects because you can take those effects on cards and make them into something imaginable. Like... Wrath of God in general is boring, imagine what it looks like going off? Much better.

Cursecatcher is good but, I dont see it played really ever. I like it, but what stops me from saying the Drakes with the same ability are good? They just dont pack the punch you need, and Ravnica is a great set and I can definetly do it soon.

Alot of em can be used, alot of em wont be valuable though. Everything in the set is good so far, well most of it, just that alot of the cards are for very specific things. Like the Demon 6/6 rare who makes it so you cant win is GREAT in Suicide... but elsewhere, I doubt youll see it played. Thats how alot of these cards are.

Its good, trust me. I like Red Fish Blue Fish. This deck style, just adding in Red for burn and control and Whirlpool Warrior.
