Yeah honestly, I thought they would put something like Sapling on the Avenger... when i read Plant I was like... wtf? Really? It makes sense flavor wise because the Plants are becoming Treefolk i guess but still... wtf?

Force of Will
Its better to just proxy it for now, get a feel for it and even see if you wanna buy it. Personally, I think it would get boring after awhile. Dont buy anything till you give it a spin.
This looks pretty good, im not into Standard but I see where you are going here. I think you should be more consistant though with cards and to be honest, you really dont need Jace.
Except you can win on Turn 1-2 which we have playtested, and yes it does work. Cost? Who cares about cost. If it works, its worth the value. Also, combo is all about Speed. The longer you take, the less likely you will win. Especially since Aggro can win anywhere from turn 3-4 in Legacy.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=28882 <------------ There you go.
I guess I am missing the point of this deck? 50 Cards isnt Legal... and its all... Scattered. I am at a loss what your doing here.
Your doing this all wrong lol! Here, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=29822 This is 2 Land Charbelcher, this is what you should use.
Nearly 200 Cards! Wow, its kinda hard not to see how convincing this set was.
Mirrodin sounds good
I think for one, the first thing I can tell you to do is extend beyond what cards you own and look to what you dont. Just because you only own so many cards now, doesnt mean you cant go further. Buying Singles is the best way to go, look at the old decklists and sets to see what is good and compare it to other sets to see what recurring cards appear and which ones effects and statistics keep appearing.
No Megrim, because Megrim = Retarded and not competitive. From the looks of things, this isnt suppose to be Legacy so im guessing Standard... which means I like this. +1 I play Legacy but I like the deck still.
Manacrypt is Restricted. Sol Ring is Restricted, and Lotus Petal is Restricted in Vintage. Neither Sol Ring nor Manacrypt are playable in Legacy so it has to be Vintage.
This is pretty good, dont think you need that many lands though. You could pry cut 1-2 lands from this actually. Really good though. +1
Dunno
Updated: Yes, Puffermad, I have decided to add Cursecatcher. Merfolk have become so big, and after playtesting him against combo decks, he really is invaluable. Being able to play him turn 1. Counter a combo card with him, then Daze if they have a backup plan or Force of Will... it really is effective at the moment.
Your still missing the whole control element here lol. Just Force of Will alone isnt going to keep players at bay, nor is just Wrath of God going to stop creatures. You need to narrow it down to a point where you have a simplistic kill condition, guarded by lots of Blue Control and White Removal. And 5 Mana is ALOT, if it isnt going to win you the game. The best spells, unless they are free, are going to be in the 1-4 range with 5 pushing it and anything more being you HAVE to win off this or its not worth playing. Rainbow Efreet, thats what you should use as your kill to slowely win the game. Its got built in protection anyway with being able to self phase. I would go LOTS of Blue Control, White Board Removal and Spot Removal, Some Mass Removal like your Disks, and a few Rainbow Efreet.
You might be comfortable with the colors, but your mana base doesnt help much. At the same time, the deck feels really frazzled and really confused on which direction to go. I didnt say you had to change, what I am saying is trying to cut 1 Color and come up with a simpler and definite theme. You already have the Counter and Burn ideas here, what your missing is a viable way to win and the right mana base to support it. Red Fish Blue Fish would give you all those things wrapped into one deck while still keeping the colors your comfortable with here (minus black). Its up to you, its your deck! I was just saying what I believe you should do.
Force of Will, Brainstorm, Daze, Counterspell, Wrath of God, Akroma's Vengeance, Standstill, Mana Leak etc etc. The Realm is interesting, but why do they have to pick creature? They get to choose. Its not like your stopping them just by playing that one card. Also, Taniwha is to expensive to play. For a theme deck, you have something here. As far as competitive, its not going to go very far. You stuff is to reliant on one set theme, not a plan or strategy.
Exactly, but honestly alot of people play Megrim.... Well... not people who matter :P
