Fuk the new rules then.

PS - Braid of Fire is mostly there to play Hateflayer's abilities. last time I checked, you can do that during your upkeep. Thanks for playing, and don't hate on a 'Flayer deck.

The chances aren't very high. That's why I have Thundercloud Shaman, Hammerfist Giant, Pyrohemia, and Kindle the Carnage to deal damage. Light of Sanction and Mark of Asylum are redundant because they serve the same purpose. It's basically like having 6 of the same card in the deck.

I still think Orcish Lumberjack is taking up space, but if you say it works...

I wanted Banefire in my deck but I don't have any yet. :(

And Furnace of Rath just might get you nuked with a deck like this. It doubles ALL damage, not just your creatures. Lame-o.

lol. Poor nukifyed.

I only recently talked everyone in my circle to playing Unhinged/Unglued cards, and we usually limit them to one card per deck. I persuaded them to let me add more based solely on the fact that one of us has a Flip A Coin deck and all of the cards in it are regular sets. Why can't I roll a friggin' die?

Kindle the Carnage is a staple of my Giant deck that my friends have all come to hate. +1 to any deck that uses it and uses it tastefully.

I think you should lose the Rite of Flame in order to make more room for other spells (especially a Magnetic Theft).

Orcish Lumberjack seems cool, but is he really worth adding green to this deck?

I put 3 Goblin Tutors in my Hateflayer deck and he seems to work nicely (and add a bit of hilarity when you're hammered).

Trace of Abundance or Dawn's Relflection would be nice in order to add some REAL tutors (Demonic Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, and Worldly Tutor come to mind) as well as provide more mana ramp.

And for the record, I still swear by Gratuitous Violence.

It depend son the kinds of decks you tend to see the most. My red/green/white version did wel against aggro, but the straight red did better against defensive decks. Red/blue seems like the safer alternative if you added counterspells.

PS - used Braid of Fire and Blaze in one of the test games the other night. DIRTY!

May I recommend a card by the name of Polymorph?

I believe nukifyed was thinking of my versions 1-4. lol. I like it with blue a lot. I tweaked my real life deck to follow your speed deck more and got some friends to play last night. I killed 3 people in turn 8.

You might also try Soulbright Flamekin for more mana ramp if you happen to need it.

I think Planar Portal and Skyship Weatherlight are the only cards you'd be able to search with.

Underworld Dreams/Megrim decks are everywhere, and I think just about everyone has one. Don;t feel bad. It's all about the angle you approach it from. Anyway, nice job. Seems solid.

Pretty cool. I would reccommend only running the Vivid lands, or at least less of the ones that damage you. Elvish Piper would also fit this deck nicely.

The Magic I play is 3+ player free for all, so the cheaper I can make the combo the better. To be honest, white is only there to attach Surestrike. I might swap out Windwalker for Isochron Scepter though. I do happen to agree with you for the most part. Looks like there'll be a version 4...

Hateflayer is good, but unless he's in the right deck he can suck hard.

Thanks nukifyed. I'll occaisionally build the "everyone else is doing it deck," like Relentless Rats/Thrumming Stone or Devoted Druid/Quillspike, but I usually like to find rediculous ways to pull off insane combos. And the fact that I only play 3+ player free for all means I can actually play with these.

I will never ever ever take a look at any of your decks ALJ. You suck at life.

Now that that's out of the way, I must disagree dknight27. Everlasting Torment prevents players from gaining life. That is its sole purpose in the deck. Mana accell yes. I kinda threw this together last night in a rush and didn;t get to craft it the way I wanted. One of those flashes of inspiration.
