Deck discussion for Fling That Thing

Just so you know, fling will be on the stack when if you sacrifice enigma drake, not in your graveyard. Also, if this is standard legal you're only allowed 15 cards in the sideboard.

I'd cut two Curious Homunculuses, and one Soul-Scar Mage, maybe a TITI. Then I'd add in some more burn and/or counterspells.

Ah, yes - I haven't play tested this in about a week and the "sideboard" is in complete disarray. I'll work to clean that up. Soul Scars were on a trial run, not sure if I plan to keep any at all. I'll definitely re-visit the build this week. Thanks for the input!

I'd suggest keeping two of them

Looks pretty good, the only suggestion I have, is that Borrowed Hostility is KEY to this combo. It means you can Drake/Fling combo up to 3 turns faster, and it makes the TiTi/Fling combo an insta-kill instead of leaving them with 6 hp. You NEED this card at 4 copies. I would drop a Censor (nice card, too weak late game tho, and you need as much value as possible) and a Reduce//Rubble (there are better cards) for 2 more Borrowed.

Also, I'd personally prefer Anticipate over Tormenting Voice, just because you don't have to discard, and you can pick what you get.

Also, remember that TiTi puts all of your things back in your hand when he flips, even if you don't mean to flip him, so watch out that that doesn't ruin you.

Excellent advice, thanks. I'll definitely be making some of those changes. I agree on Reduce//Rubble, just wanted to test it out. I think I had Commit//Memory in that slot originally, to much greater effect.

This was a sweet deck idea, btw.

Made a few changes. How do you feel about Invigorated Rampage here?

I mean, it might work, it's just a little slower than other possible spells you could use.

True. How about 2 Contingency Plan to complement the 2 Anticipate? Seems like a good fit. Any experience with that card? I have none, unfortunately.

I would just stick with 4 anticipate honestly. Anticipate is good enough. Contigency plan is decent, the only problem is it puts things in your graveyard, or you have to keep it. While that seems nice, and it is for certain decks, its not ideal for this deck.

I thought it might benefit Enigma Drake (since I run 4) as an alternative strategy/Fling target.

That makes sense
