Deck Description

This deck is a clone of What a Fungi by Senress.

Saw the above deck and was struck with nostalgia of my first self-built magic deck. With the new card winding constrictor, thallids get a whole lot better. Along with some cheap removal spells, this deck is a super budget (other than fatal pushes, those things are super expensive) modern deck that you can goof around with in casual tournaments or at your kitchen table.

How to Play

Thallids produce saprolings, and you hope to stall out the board for long enough that those saprolings can let you win the game.

Deck discussion for Fungi and a couple of snakes

I love fungus, but they always prove to be too slow. the snake is great but, and i like the look. I would suggest Scatter the Seeds over the sprout, because with convoke ability you could either cast it for free or for a few mana, I feel like it might do better.

The thing about sprout swarm is that it also has convoke, and while it can only make one saproling, it can be brought back to the hand after use in order to use it again.
