Deck Description

Zirilan + Dragon Tyrant + Sufficiant mana ramp = many obscenities being spewed from your opponents mouths. Mana ramp up to summoning Zirilan then abuse his ability to pull deadly dragons to the front lines.

Once Tyrant is in the graveyard, pull a Bladewing with Zirilan and bring the Tyrant out permanently!

Deck discussion for Master of Dragons

What are you going to sacrifice with Infernal Plunge? From where you will take the black and green mana?

....shmeegz didn't think that one through............substituting it for a Furyborn Hellkite!

And the Infernal Plunge is meant to be used at the end of the turn with the hope you can summon something else (Ideally the furyborn so it becomes a 12/12)

my point really is , how you will summon the Zirilan of the Claw , by the time he enters, the opponent will have a lot of stuff or just mana leak him in the worst cenario....ok if you are VERY LUCKY to take the exactly perfect hand but the chance is one in one million
but in a long run your deck is very cool

That my good sir is what you see the ramp for. I've done some preliminary testing and it actually doesn't run too slow. I'm usually able to get him out by turn 3. As for controlling, I'm trying to work out a way to deal with that. But by turn 5 or 6 I can usually get enough mana to start putting dragons out on the field without Zirilan, and the people I play with dont run decks that are fast enough to kill me by then. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Believe it or not, I'm actually not a huge fan of steel hellkite. If something doesn't jive as well as I want it to, I'll definitely consider it!

I really like the Kilnmouths. What would you suggest I take out?

I would sub the Dragon Tyrant for Kilnmouth Dragon. The Tyrant cost way to much mana and you have the possibility of losing him during your upkeep. You might want try Hellkite Charger for Zirilan of the Claw. It gives you an addition combat phase if you pay 2 red and 5 colorless + it comes out with haste and also has flying so you could still keep the extra mana cards in there so you could afford the 2nd combat phase. Keep the cards in your side board just in case it doesn't work.
