I'd cut Duress.

If you can get one, I'd suggest adding Eye of Ugin. It's a legendary land that reduces the cost of colorless Eldrazi spells by 2.

I might use Inquisition of Kozilek or Distress.

Take a look at mine if you need some inspiration. Bear in mind that I can't afford any Noble Hierarchs, though.

Fair enough. Keep an eye out for those, though. They can really make the deck a whole lot better.

how about Mycoloth? for 3GG, you get a 4/4 with Devour 2 (sac any number of creatures as you cast it; Mycoloth enters with twice that many +1/+1 counters on it) and on your upkeep, you get a 1/1 Saproling for every +1/+1 counter on it.

Panic Spellbomb and Perilous Myr for your sideboard. Those are both answers to Kor Firewalker, which can cause massive problems for a deck like this.

Except the Melire/Etched combo actually works; therefore, Persist DOES in fact work with Melira. Whoever told you otherwise was incorrect.

Contested War Zone. Also, drop the Tuktuks and the Koths for Signal Pest.

Too many lands. Also, I think you should be running 4 War Zones.
