Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!

You're doing it wrong. Either use Odd cost creatures or even cost, but not BOTH! I'd say keep on even with Char-Rumbler, Searblades and Soulbright Flamekin. Q for the others. Does every instance of "pumping" count as activating an ability? Or does an activated ability necessarily imply tapping the creature as well?

Yes it does count as separate activated abilities... An activated ability is an ability you pay mana or tap for or both... The cost and the ability are always separated by a ' : '
