Why?

I like the Country side Crusher + Cruicible of Worlds combo
The Wasteland + Cruicible of Worlds combo isn't bad either, however Stip Mine would be better than Wasteland

I think that is a better choice of lands.

Why max 12? What's to keep you from having 15 Forests?

When you start a match the first game cannot use any of the cards from the sideboard.

My Sentiments exactly. No Mana sources.

Yeah, you need forests for the fetch lands to fetch as well as needing them for mana sources.

Unless your opponent has Ash Zealot out.

Sideboard needs to have exactly 15 cards.

Although very unlikely to draw
