Why not run dual lands like Dragonskull Summit?

If you're allowed to use uncommons in Pauper, I would use Tainted Isle.

Is it really "Pauper" if you're running a card from Portal 3 Kingdoms?

I'm also quite fond of the Black-Blue dual lands.

If you use all 4 of them, yes. However if you only use one or two, it's not too bad.
& I guess it depends on whether you use it early game vs. mid game vs late game.

I just tweaked this deck. It now has a 2 drop in it x4. However, now Modern legal.
