Deck Description

I purchased this as a Pre-constructed deck and have wanted to give it my own flair for awhile now.

How to Play

So typically swarm kill will be the win condition, but it's got a few Fatty's and few Enchantments that can really make any 6+ creatures dangerous.

Deck discussion for Ghave, Token EDH

For one more mana than Doom Blade, Putrefy doesn't have the non-black restriction on the creature you can kill and it lets you hit an artifact if need be, or for one more you could run Unmake that doesn't have the non-black restriction on the creature you can kill and it exiles. I'd rune either (or both) over Doom Blade.

Glare of Subdual absolutely destroys people.

Remember that Hex only works if you have six targets. You can't cast it otherwise, though in a Ghave deck it's easy to make a token to kill if need be just to hit six. Still, at six mana I think I'd rather just run Plague Wind at nine and kill all other creatures.

Good suggestions, I definitely make the switch from doom blade to putrefy or unmake… probably unmake with all the current Gods seeing EDH play.

I haven't played with Glare and I don't have it, that being said it only cost a buck, and I'm interested in trying it so that might happen.

Plague Wind is a better card, but it currently runs into problem with regards to how I try to make/use proxies. If I own a card I allow myself to make up to 3x that many proxies. But if I only own X copies, then only up to X copies can go into any given built deck. I currently own 2 copies of Plague Wind, and I'm using 6 copies. So I'd have to buy another copies to follow my own proxy rules. It's unlikely.

This deck is currently buried somewhere in my deck boxes so it might take awhile to make the changes you suggested. But I do appreciate the advice and comments. Thank you.
