Had a Devour deck, really liked the mechanic. Then Wizards printed the Devour planechase deck (Primordial Hunger) and I absolutely wanted it for the Mycoloth. It was hard cutting 2 decks down to one, since the Pre-con early game was much different than the deck I'd already built.
So early on you try to establish tokens: a couple of dragon fodders will do this, 3-4 dmg on a broodhatch, or something like a 7/7 Thunder-Thrash Elder followed by a Fungal Sprouting will do nicely.From that point, either go for a finisher like Overrun or Predator Dragon, or you would bolster your board position with a Double Season, Mycoloth, or any other card with CMC >= 5.
