agreed, in my mardu tokens deck i use 1 MB and 2 SB.
Taking out the timely reinforcements and replacing them with lingering souls would be more competitive, especially considering the amount of life gain you have.
I am thinking of adding Boon Sayter but am not sure where. What do you think?
Not to mention you can sideboard in the event of the field wipe.

That is a good point. I put in a play set of The high Priest and I added 4 brave the elements. Also I can side in the other two banisher's if needed.

The meta is so fast that mad cap can be very useful. turn 2 swinging basically unblockable for 3-6 damage
Also anex target gives trample
You can give double strike twice. I run a boros deck with titan strength and mad cap and i have seen a turn 4 win at least 20% of the time with the hero alone. I also just added Gift of Orzhava for the flying and it gives live link and an extra counter. Swinging for 8 flying life link turn 4 is not bad.
Side board her then put her in for non red decks

If you give Boros Reckoner life link and indestructible when he takes damage you can redirect it to himself over and over again. with two ways to be indestructible. ie and boros charm or the medic. Also I could add hopeful Eidolon to bestow lifelink.
