sigil captain can be a substitute for Melira, if she does get extracted, but it only works with murderous redcap and safehold elite, as the recurring creature must be a 1/1 after persist.

I've brewed a similar deck, check it out here: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=196694

Garruk possibly, he makes tokens and has an overrun effect. Eldrazi monument is also a very very good call. Emrakul's Hatcher and Kozilek's Predator are solid token generators.

Furnace celebration will allow you to take full advantage of the Eldrazi spawn sacrifice ability.

Glistening oil is some sweet tech, thanks for that suggestion. I also put in BSZ in the sb for some one sided board sweeping while melira is out haha

Thank you! This idea actually arose from a discussion i had with a friend, regarding glen elendra archmage. We were discussing ways to win counter wars and he said, "you know, glen elendra and melira means you get to re use it an infinite amount of times."

The gears started churning a bit later, i brewed this up.The combo is a bit vulnerable, so any suggestions on how to protect it would be great. Also, i may need some alternate win conditions, as i can't expect to combo off on the redcap every game.

Sweet deck, I notice you take on rather challenging brews. Have you considered a Melira persistance deck? Melira's ability will stop -1/-1 counters from being placed on your creatures with persist, so they will keep recurring from the yard with a sac outlet.

Marisi's twinclaws would be a good addition

in my opinion, you've got too many equipments in this deck. you want to be drawing and playing your creatures ASAP and when your hand is filled with 2-3 equipments, it slows the whole deck down. drop the bonesaw, infiltration lens, and jitte.

Consider putting in journey to nowhere. The removal will definitely help when you get a less than ideal draw. It also combos well with kor skyfisher (which should go in here as well). Sejiri steppe is also useful

Looking solid so far. Could you check out my jund sacrifice deck please? http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=137503
