I like this guys style, its like he read my mind; Blood Baron is to strong to not have in here, he alone can turn a game in your favor.

True True, in test playing I have been able to draw/scry into what I need but if I were to drop anything else what would you suggest? The only creatures I would consider for the mainboard would be Fiendslayer Paladin, Precinct Captain or possibly Banisher Priest; oddly I am not a fan of Fabled Hero but I would never rule him out.

Those are some great observations as I feel the same myself, been doing test draws and honestly I hate seeing the Hunter in my hand and the Sphinx/Authority in my top 10 cards. Ethereal Armor (4) is definitely going in, I will also be adding in (4) Phalanx Leader.

I agree, I like the Arrester but the Pegasus could give some evasion to the entire squad... I know its a Human Deck but I have seen that horse do work in the past.

It performs pretty good, I have 3-1 a few times with it; I have trouble with control most of the times, and control is always at the top tables at my local shop :/
I tried the Nivix Blitz as well and totally agree about it being unreliable thats why went more towards a midgame/control style of play with the deck. Anytime you have questions I will help anyway I can, I tend to play Blue/Red or Blue/Black most of the time :D

This is the Izzet that I am running now, not really budget but you could drop the Steam Vents and save a ton of money.

I would drop the G.Electromancer, your spells are fairly low as is; He does help but I think you could possibly get more out of another Y.Pyromancer or FBWeird (I really love this creature). You could might also consider a Nivix Cyclops, he fits into a different style of of Izzet(the type I typically play) but he is still a great creature. The Jace feels a little out of place, He is a great dude but I don't know if you have enough there for a alternate Mill condition, don't get me wrong it could happen but if you want to go that route I recommend 1or 2 more dropping the Pyromancers, Electromancer and (1) of the Chimera bumping FBWeird up and adding Cyclops to protect him.
I love Izzet, every deck I play tends to have Blue in it; for about 2 months (during Innistrad) I actually ran a Izzet Epic Experiment Burn deck that performed pretty well, even better once Cyclops came into being.

Thanks for the kind words, If murder was Standard legal it would be in here for sure. Once I get a chance to review all the sets prior to the Innistrad block I may delve into the world of Budget Modern/Legacy. I played from about Weatherlight to 6th Edition and stopped until Innistrad so I missed alot and need to reacquaint myself to the sets I missed.

If I were to change out creatures/spells for any rares I would consider the following. They are 3 drops and below, I would still keep some of the faster one drops just drop some the sub-par cards for these. Remember the Heroic Triggers so don't forget to keep enough for that.
