Deck Description

I really enjoyed the U/B control deck that is currently in standard. I felt like a red splash gave it more options with Keranos and steam augury.

How to Play

I feel like the lands are pretty self- explanatory
Keranos - The way I win most. It gives me card advantage and puts my opponent on a clock
Prognostic Sphinx - My favortie card in standard and it pairs really well with Keranos and avoids Elspeth and is a great secondary win con.
Pearl Lake Ancient - The big finisher. If i can resolve a Pearl Lake, it is essentially game over.
Dig Through Time - Essentially lets me tutor for what i need at a relatively cheap cost. I find it better than treasure cruise in this deck because it almost guarantees what i want and it is an instant.
Steam Augury - More card advantage and helps the delving
Silence the Believers - Really good for the midrange and whip decks that are around. It also shuts down the heroic decks if i get lucky and they don't have protection.
Murderous Cut - More removal for cheap
Bile Blight - Rolls the token decks and any other super-fast aggro decks
Hero's Downfall - The best removal spell in the format in my opinion
Perilous Vault - The deck needed a sweeper and anger of the gods was too difficult to cast with my mana base
Dissolve - Best counter spell
Disdainful Stroke - Needed more counter and it hits big threats
Thoughtseize - Disrupts the best cards and punishes bad keeps

Sideboard
Empty the Pits - Against the control mirror or whip decks. Occaisionally bring it in when i'm on the play against abzan midrange.
Liliana Vess - Very strong against other control decks. It can also find ashioks against midrange decks if it needs to, but it usually doesn't come to that.
Drown in Sorrow - Mainly for jeskai aggro decks. It ruins the token decks and it pretty reasonable against the burn version
Silence the Believers - When three just isn't enough
Jorubai Murk Lurker - Against aggro and burn mainly. Lots of aggro decks can't get through one
Negate - Stops control and counters whips and stokes, which are huge problems for me
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver - Against midrange and whip decks it provides a problem that the player is forced to deal with. If they don't deal with it, they usually lose.
