I hope you got your shots because there's a lot of deadly stuff flittering about in the jungle air. Inspiration was pretty simple on this one. I like the artwork on Fleetfeather Cockatrice, so I wanted to try to come up with a deck for him. The deck revolves around two big concepts of his colors. Some mana ramp from green and some control from blue.
Mystic and Follower are your mana dorks. I like that the follower can always be used later to give the cockatrice quasi vigilance. Some straight forward control with dissolve and nullify. Bounce with Voyage's End if needed. Voyage's end can also be used later to bounce your own Hornet Queen.Hornet Nest for the blocker with a bonus.
