Deck Description

Ahhh, isn't UW control just fun.... This is the third grindiest deck of the format, just behind TE and UB control and the only deck that can beat TE in a value game without gy hate

Reality Acid and bounce effects make for a truly nice way of getting card advantage while clearing the board and that's also where the name comes from. You have acid that keeps taking trips.

How to Play

Your early blockers make up for the fact that you take aeons to get going, bouncing Tranquil Cove around aint that bad when you consider that Dream Stalkers will be eating removal spells. Or saving you from 10 damage.

Once you have enough mana you start using Reality Acid and clearing the board, from here, bounce effects and etb effects will carry you to victory.

Some things to note:
MANY card counts should be adjusted to your meta, stuff like Reality Acid, Lone Missionary, Faith's Fetters.
Spreading Seas, while great for stalling and in larger numbers even color-screwing an opponent out, do nothing in a meta with many blue decks or a meta that's too fast to care.
Reality Acid does indeed take care of lands, this is something that many opponents don't note until it's too late.

EDIT: I am currently playing the deck at my lgs and I have found that, due to my meta having almost no control decks and no bounce lands at all Spreading Seas finds itself in a tricky spot. I think that when the deck was being concieved people included it and then others started to do so as well for no reason really, even though there may have been other cards that deserved the slot.

The card is great when you draw 3, or when you start killing lands with acid, or when up agains MBC and their corrupt is suddenly 2 points weaker. But it doesn't block, kill or create card advantage,
I will replace it with 2 deep analysis, I'll add 1 cycle land and 1 Oblivion Ring and see how it goes.

Deck discussion for Pauper Acid Trip

Pretty sure you know about this but if you wanted another card that bounces a permanent to you hand you could use Aviary Mechanic with is a 2 mana 2/2 which does this.

I thought about that a lot during the pre-release but not much afterwards. Thinking about it now, I think a one-of is pretty good here.
Thanks for the reminder.
