Deck discussion for Unstopable Evolution

Id take Experiment one over forced adaptation any day. I'm not too sold on drakewing krasis either... maybe trigon predator instead? Even gyre sage works well enough. I hope this helps

Why not just make it standard legal? :P seems really fun though!

Yeah... switch out Hinterland Harbor with Breeding Pool, then it will be standard legal!

Or guildgates if you don't want to drop $40 on breeding pools

I wish evolve had spells that triggered evolve, kinda like populate does. Imagine something like 3CMC, return target creature to owners hand, evolve creatures under your control.
I actually tried playing evolve and found it to be incredibly difficult, against just a little bit of removal you wind up playing 1/1 creatures on like turn 5. Garruk our kalonian hydra could make it more spicy?

Have you thought about tossing in other mechanics such as Proliferate?

Throw in 4x Breeding Pool, 4x Misty Rainforest, and maybe even 4x Temple of Mystery.

There's also Prophet of Kruphix form Theros which could help speed the deck up (After turn 5, anyway).

I think the lands you are suggesting are very expensive. Yes.

Temple of Mysterys are only $5 or so (from memory), Breeding Pools about $9, although yeah, Misty's are rather pricey.

If you're unable to get a hold of them, Maybe just drop an Island for a Forest - You've got a lot more green cards than blue, and some with double green in the mana cost, so you want to maximise your chances of getting the right land for them.

Well, I'm thinking the name of the deck could really do with some work. Have you considered something fierce, like "Unstoppable Evolution"? I considered the name you have for a while, and it dawned on me that maybe "Unstopable Evolution" sounds strange with the long "o" sound. I mean, I don't know what "abling" an "unstop" is. Strange.

But saying "unstoppable evolution" is a lie because a doom blade or supreme verdict stops it immediately. However, it can't be "stoped" because stoping isn't even a thing. Nothing can be stoped, as far as I know.

EDIT: I stand corrected.
Stope - (v) to mine or work by stopes.
Stope - (n) any excavation made in a mine, especially from a steeply inclined vein, to remove the ore that has been rendered accessible by the shafts and drifts.
The more you know.

So as long as this deck is not concealing any ore, it is unstopable indeed.

Pretty cool evolve deck. I run one in standard at my local shop. I would try adding maybe in some kalonian hydras in exchange for those drakewing Krasis. Kalonian can double all your +1/+1 counters every time u attack with him. Or if u don't want to spend that much put in Vorel of the Hullclade in there. Tap it for 1 green and 1 blue and u double the counters in target creature

kalonian hydra was here and it was bit expensive, but Vorel of the Hullclade is great thx man! (will think about it, maybe add him)
