Get gyre sage out quick then either increasing savagery or burst of strength on it until its got 5 +1/+1 counters on it. Play fathom mage or prime speaker until you draw into staff. Use it to gain infinite life, mana, drawing by untapping gyre sage with it then untapping staff(1 mana will be left over) repeat. Play lattice if you want to mess around and play every card in your deck(infinite draw+infinite all colored mana) then cast helix and put 100 counters on it.

I would suggest Foresee, Omen, Preordain or Soothsaying. One of these cards will work well with this deck and all 4 are in vintage
