Deck Description

feel free to mulligan if you don't see a potential turn 1 turn 2 creature. this deck is designed for just that purpose. feel free to share ideas to helping this deck become MORE!!
It all depends on game circumstance, this deck can protect against grave hate (cabal therapy) fill your grave yard (Jin-Gitaxias, core Augur) and be a very fast affective quick game win on average because it is legacy. BUT YES FEEL FREE TO GIVE SUGGESTIONS!!!!
here is my tapped out link if you want to play test it XD!!

How to Play

Magic is all about circumstance of course, most commonly you want Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur out right away so you can build off him then when you are set up with a graveyard full of creatures you play the other copy of him to kill him so you don't run out of cards. you want to mulligan f you don't have a combo in hand.

Right now im seeing a pretty high concentration of critter-fodder (14), which is much higher than normal in a reanimator build as your goal is to ensure that 1 hits the board as fast as possible rather than to consistently hit more than 1. 14 cards is 25% of the deck, so you are likely to get 2 in the opening, and when you add in the entomb it cranks the chances to close to 1/3. I would personally run more disruption/tactical hand rearrangement.

Also, lotus petal will help augment the dark rituals even more and will up the chances of the turn 1 iona or Jin-Gitaxias you want so badly.

Just my thoughts

Agreed. Prioritize the creatures you want/need and cut the rest. Add something like thoughtseize or unmask to give you a better chance against decks with any sort of removal or counter cards. If you want more inspiration from another Reanimator deck, feel free to check mine out.

Give a thought to Chancellor of the Annex, as it's hilarious on turn 1.
