The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

This is the first mill deck that I have put together. I really wanted to put in Glimpse the Unthinkable, but for monetary cost I had to settle for mind sculpt. Also, to further reduce cost...one could swap out Mind Funeral for Mind Grind (though, not usable as quickly). Like any other milling deck, the object is to deplete their library as quickly as possible.

How to Play

Quickly deplete your opponent's deck with Mind Sculpt and Mind Funeral. If they're still around by turn six use demonic tutor to pull out keening stone to finish them off......Traumatize then Kenning Stone = Victory!
Alternate: Simply get out Consuming Aberration make him unblockable with Distortion Strike and chances are you'll be doing 30+ damage.

Deck discussion for Milling for the fun of it!

If you're going to end the game by the 6th turn, you need more upwards movement with your land. I suggest less "enters play tapped" land. Drowned catacomb ought to be enough.

Yeah, I appreciate the advice. These are the lands that I have on hand, but I did plan on swapping in either watery grave or underground river for some of my non-basic land.....or do you recommend just swapping out some of the non-basic land for islands?

Why play mill for fun?

I recently placed 29 out of 85 in legacy, so mill CAN be serious.

Go take a look at my CURRENT decks.
