Deck Description

well, the inspiration for this deck comes from the words "you cannot beat the system".
and yes, there is a system here, you detain or incapacitate every single one of your opponents permanents until the point where mind unbound, venser's journal and righteous authority are in play, then you just go for the victory, and if the brutality isn't enough to win the game, the laboratory maniac will save you since you'll draw up all your cards in a few rounds. and the fact that you are drawing cards, could also grant you a victory using jace's erasure, by milling your opponent.

I'd take out laboratory maniac because you won't be drawing that many cards also take out jaces erasure

Jace's is taken out, i'm going to update all my decks and how they are at this moment when i find the time to do so, but laboratory maniac is there because in it's current form i do draw that many cards.

Some azor's elocutors would be fine in this. They work well with detain.

And inplace of the erasure, you can use Sphinx's Tutelage. Draw 1, mill at least 2. great against mono color decks. Great in general. My favorite card in blue right now in standard.
