Well, this is certainly the deck for THAT. :)

Your completely right, & I even knew that...I didn't look at the card closely enough. Thanks for getting back!

A valid point...but did anyone tell you to do that? Or did you just go w/ what seemed intrinsically right for you? (I'm assuming the latter.) To me, that's part of the process...you'll naturally gravitate toward something that suits your style. If you're forcing it, it's probably not right for you.

I used to disassemble decks, not for purposes of rotation (I've never played Standard), but just because variety. I've got to the point now where my decks are never disassembled, & just tweaked from time to time, depending on what new shows up, or ideas I get from looking at other peoples' decks (that's one of the things I love about sites like this...you basically get to pick a lot of peoples' brains). Long story short, I really just enjoy seeing well made decks, regardless of format, cost, etc. etc. etc. Even if a deck is one I'd never play myself (for whatever reason), if it's well made, I appreciate it.

@ wickeddarkman, do you still have the list? And if so...do you feel like sharing?

Well, it's probably not THAT weird...we tend toward the same kind of decks. I think on an interactive site like this, you're probably bound to run into the same people over time...like draws to like (or so I'd like to think...okay, admittedly, that was too obvious to be anything but lame). I did wonder, when I most recently visited the Active list, if you had a hand in that...there were some really cool decks listed there, some of which I hadn't seen before.

Okay, BIG edit...just searched you, & discovered you've been posting decks here for some time (as opposed to being a newchum, which your request suggested to me). Politely phrased...WTF??

I give Northy big ups for not going postal. I understand that's how he rolls, but at the same time, building decks yourself is a learning process that will benefit you in the long run. If you already have the idea of ingest/mill, I'm guessing you already know what to do...right? So just go do it. Test it online or proxy it first if paying for the cardboard would be a significant investment, & you're unsure of it. I guess all I'm really trying to say is that we all start somewhere, but I personally don't think that being spoon-fed is the best way to learn. Apologies if I offended by saying that...but you really do sound bright enough to initiate on your own. As they say, be bold, man! And have/build enough/more confidence in yourself, & your judgment, in the process. ;)

Also...realize in retrospect that I was insensitive...a distinct faux pas on my part (where's "Impulse" when you need it?). My sincere apologies for that.

By the name of your deck, & Alesha being in the SB, I'm inferring that Alesha is intended as your Commander...? Alesha can't be the Commander of this deck, as it's RWB, & Alesha is mono-R. Sorry I didn't look at your deck in detail, but that just killed it for me...if I inferred incorrectly, by all means, clarify. Otherwise, find a legendary RWB creature to use instead of Alesha, & you'll probably be straight...those colors are really strong as a general rule (no pun intended :D). BTW, I see where you've built other EDH decks, so I'm really at a total loss here...explanations, please, sir.

Correction...you WERE the progenitor, as Maniacal specifically referred to a deck of yours as what lead him to build this deck. Synergy...gotta love it. :)

Silence is good for when you're casting it, but enchantment hate is still a concern. I'm actually more familiar w/ what's going on in Standard at this point (ironic, considering I don't play it), & it's not uncommon MB there...don't know if it's as much a concern in Modern. It would be nice to find a way to diversify this, to allow for more than 1 win-con...your next project, perhaps? (As the progenitor, you do have some added responsibility, you know...)

Yeah...we addicts do like sharing our addiction! :D Glad you found some of my suggestions useful! As for the rest, as the old adage goes, "If it works, don't fix it." Swipe could be a SB option in the event you end-up playing against someone playing heavy-duty fliers. And there's nothing wrong w/ using Vraska's ultimate...I just never evaluate PWs in terms of them, because in my group, they enter the BF w/ bulls-eyes on them. -.- This is why I always evaluate walkers in terms of their pen-ultimate abilities. But if I get the chance, I ult them every time. :D Oh, & for a good laugh, if you haven't already seen it, check-out "R & D's Secret Lair"...that pretty much explains everything. ;) Good gaming!

And thank you for being frank w/ me...I've never been a fan of the alternative. ;) The fact is, we are all struggling w/ these things, to one degree or another, in one way or another. I just hope we find a way to achieve some sort of equilibrium, before humanity as a whole explodes.

So ironic...I was listening to an entirely different song on my computer while searching, & "Advice for the Young at Heart" queued up behind it, just as your comment came up. And no...I read the RPG, but for the reasons that I stated, don't believe I picked the wrongest deck, but we can agree to disagree on that. As for the rest, I will respect your feelings in that. Oh, more irony..."Everybody Wants To Rule The World" just came up...damn thing must be on some kind of auto-pilot (I actually just set out to listen to "Woman in Chains"). Still wishing you a peaceful day...if it helps, feel free to cuss me out loudly a few times. I never take that sort of thing personally. ;)
