Deck discussion for Untapifact

OK, I see the self mill strategy with paradise mantle + puresight merrow and maniac, but I'm not sure how you pay for any of the other combos to go infinite. Does it require multiple mantles out? Or am I missing something?

Either way this is a cool deck. Gets a +1 from me.

Hey, thanks for the comment and like.

Honestly all the combos are pretty convoluted, and would take a while to fully describe. No you don't need multiple mantles, but you do essentially need one for anything to really work. But if you've got a couple cards on the board with a Paradise Mantle, chances are you can go infinite in at least some way, if not a bunch of ways.

Well, I appreciate the support, and love talking about my decks so I'll explain a bit...

Paradise Mantle + Puresight Merrow = Tutor whatever card you want to the top of library for free. (sort of)
Paradise Mantle + Puresight Merrow + Judge of Currents = Infinite life.

Paradise Mantle + Puresight Merrow + Labratory Maniac = Self mill wincon.
Paradise Mantle + Puresight Merrow + Labratory Maniac + Niveous Wisps = Self mill wincon this turn.

Paradise Mantle + Auriok Steelshaper + x other creatures = Add x mana
Paradise Mantle + Patrol Signaler = 1: Create 1/1 Kithkin Soldier
Paradise Mantle + Auriok Steelshaper + Patrol Signaler + Lightning Greaves = Infinite tapped 2/2 Kithkin Soldiers.

Paradise Mantle + Retraction Helix + Jeskai Ascendancy + any creature/s = Infinitely big creature/s and infinite looting (draw one then discard one).
Paradise Mantle + Retraction Helix + Jeskai Ascendancy + Auriok Steelshaper + any creature/s = Infinitely big creatures, optional infinite looting, infinite mana, and infinite bounce target non-land permanents.
Paradise Mantle + Retraction Helix + Jeskai Ascendancy + Laboratory Maniac = Alt self mill wincon this turn.

Paradise Mantle + Order of Whiteclay = 1W: Return creature from grave to play.
Leonin Shikari + Lightning Greaves = Creatures have shroud at instant speed.

hmm... alright, I can see how those work. very interesting ideas. I like it. not every combo is infinite I see, but it looks like you didn't intend for them to be infinite. my bad for making that assumption. many of the combos are infinite, but not all. which is what I missed, and I got confused.

only question I have left would be about Flayerhusk. is it only here for living weapon because it is a creature that can be tutored up with steelshaper's gift?

I wish I could give a second thumbs up just for the use of niveous wisps. one of my favorite cards.

Mmhmm, my combo decks tend towards acquiring small unimpressive but complementary combos that can potentially go big, as opposed to putting all my eggs in one combo's basket. And yes, that is exactly why Flayer Husk is in the deck.

Also, I checked out a handful of your decks, cool stuff, left a bunch of likes. I'll be back to check out more later, as you have a metric s'-ton of decks.
