I've always wanted to run a 5 color deck. And I love dragons so I thought this one would be cool. I've looked at a lot of similar decks and took some of there ideas and made my own. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.
There are one of each dragon because I don't want to have multiples of legendary creatures in my hand. Each dragon is strong enough that when it hits the battlefield, it should be a bomb.Wall of Tanglecord are cheap chump blocks that aren't mana specific. Birds of paradise, Sylvan caryatid, and Bloom Tender are mana fixers. The main mana fix is the Prismatic Omen, but isn't always needed.Dragonspeaker Shaman reduces all dragons to cmc 4. and Elvish Piper can put dragons straight to the field. Use training grounds to reduce the dragon's abilities to 1 mana.A cool combo is with Scion and Teneb. play Scion, use his ability to put Teneb into the graveyard. then use scion to put Teneb onto the battlefield after gaining Teneb's ability. After that, Scion can fetch all the dragons to the graveyard and Teneb can put all of them into play. This process can be done in one turn if training grounds and prismatic Omen are in play, because Scion's ability is reduced by one and all lands can be tapped to activate Tenebs ability.Just keep swinging the dragons, If some die, others will get through for damage and their abilities can be activated. When Teneb gets through, bring your other dragons back to the battlefield.
