Yeah, I noticed that. I guess my thinking is right now, I don't really need for it to be modern for any reason. It's just a casual deck, and since it can be a slow starter, Moment's Peace is a lifesaver (in theory, haven't built it yet).

I like that deck conceptually a lot. I like the 2-of instead of 1-of. I'd love to see what you come up with for mana. I will say that $400 is a little out of my budget. Haha.
Thanks! I've only really been playing for less than a year, so I'm still learning how to deck build the hard way. My friend's boyfriend is a mad genius and he helped me to make some changes to this one.
ThatAngelGuy, that is a badass deck. Unlike mine, it is not a deck in which nothing happens for many turns. But I'm working on it. Viking, I already have one deck that relies pretty heavily on bringing creatures back from the graveyard; I'm trying to do something a little bit different with this one. But it's a pretty good idea for this archetype.
Actually, I lied, I'm adding Shimmering Grotto for mana fixing. That way I can still tap it for one colorless to do a non-creature thing.
You're right about Akroma. I don't know how I managed to not include her, other than just the world's worst oversight. I already own Gisela, but I don't run her anywhere anymore; but she is my favorite angel, so on your suggestion of course I'm running her, and I decided to add Empyrial Archangel. I thought about adding Steam Vents and Farseek or something for the mana, but then I thought about it and I thought, why not just add 4 Ancient Ziggurat? I'm never going to do anything with that mana except summon angels, and the Ziggurat won't be a dead draw if I draw it but never draw Gisela or Empyrial Archangel. I thought also about putting in Pillar of the Paruns, but doing both seemed like overkill. Actually, Asceticism is more for Elvish Piper's sake, as well as the Angels. Most of my friends run a lot of removal, and with Piper, even a well-timed Cunning Sparkmage would finish her off. But Quicksilver Amulet would be a good idea, so I'll think about it.
That's a good idea. I might do that. In place of what, do you think? Mirran Crusader? Or Sunspear Shikari?
Man, I usually have a battalion pretty early on. I can hit it as early as turn 3 if I draw right. Actually, I've seen this deck race B/U control and win on a really good draw. It just depends.
Not necessarily, but my decks, in general, tend to be pretty vulnerable to some forms of control. Not sure if that goes with the territory or if I just lack finesse. :)
Interesting - I wouldn't play Coat of Arms because in my Meta, most everyone plays some kind of tribal (or at least has a tribal deck), so Coat of Arms would hurt me more than it would help me. Honor of the Pure is something I run in my other white weenie deck, but I'm not sure this deck needs it all that much. But I'll sure think about it.Thanks for the comment!
Well, I figured that Stoneforge Mystic is doing the work Steelshaper's Gift would be doing. Granted, for one mana more, but her tap ability makes her worth it (in my mind). I've thought about Dispatch (a lot) and might switch it in soon. It is a good card. Obviously some swords would be great but I'll have to save up for a while to afford them.
