Mimic Vat and Venser. Sunblast in Mimic Vat, or Sunblast exiled until EoT? Fun stuff. Also, consider Sun Titan since he has Vigilance!

The biggest problem I see is your deck is creature control, instead of player control. You have to respond to your opponents, instead of creating answers for them. You're defensive by nature in this deck, and rush (goblins, elves) will tear it apart. You're probably aiming towards cards you actually have instead of what you want to specifically acquire, but there are so many good choices in blue and white, especially combo'd together. I don't personally like running creature lock-down decks, because I personally don't run many creatures. If you and I played, you'd sit there half the game trying to find something to do. Silence is a bad card. It hits the stack first, so anything that hits the stack at the same time will still nonetheless resolve like nothing ever happened. Angelic Arbiter is also a terrible card, but turn 7 you should be punching your opponent in the face. And if they're playing a good deck, by then it won't matter. Damn, you have NO early game. Too many people think they can control their opponent with simple counter spells. You must have an early game!

You just cast counters until turn 5-7 before you can do anything? Sounds positively riveting...
Tainted Strike for Thrumming Bird? Seems really low on creatures, and after playing a U/B infect deck, being low on creatures can get you killed very easily. Get 3-4 of the ichorclaw, consider getting Ichor Rats (unless they counter it, you give them a poison counter no matter what).
I was iffy on the butcher's and the quandary's as well, and in like 20 games I played, I only got the butcher out once. That was against a mono blue control that just kept prolonging everything! But I might try to leave the butcher in (Bring it down to two) and remove the quandaries. The Bloodthrone Vampire idea is an amazing one, especially because I can just sack Bloodghast and get him back!
