There are decks that win with both aria and ascension and don’t run it at all, and if aria is the only one you have it’s a dead card which is bad in a normal deck, but in storm it can kill the entire deck

The problem is that they don't draw you more cards and faithless is banned, so you can't get another good card to discard them
