Fun fact you can make almost any deck in modern half the price, just by changing the landbase.

Have you considered going Dimir instead of golgari, it has good looting effects. [[Careful study]], [[looter il-kor]], and [[Ideas unbound]] are all good. Also there's erant ephemeron with suspend, so you can turn 2 suspend that and use the next 5 turns setting up.

There are some decks that technically stop it from becoming a game, and also the Olympics are technically a game, but yeah I see what you mean. Also the wanderer could prevent the damage dealt to you from all of the spells that deal damage to each player.

You could use different arts, but this is hard because cards with different arts aren't that powerful in general
