Deck Description

Uses elves to build up strength and mana, then finishes one of two ways: A mass attack of elves ending in significant damage, or casting a super-powerful creature or two by generating a huge amount of mana. Either way, it does massive damage, and has proven to be both faster and more consistent than I originally thought it would be.

srry, i was being a little mean to you. ok well, you mana curve looks ok, and u might want to get a bit more and, but definately have 4 llanowars, 4 fyndhorns of possible, and this looks like a elf mana ramp deck, so seeing that you have around 10 elves, run 4 elvish archdruids. you shouldn't need to run oracle of nectars, or most of your creatures that you are. get4 chord of calling and or green sun's zenith, i will leave you to decide the rest, but like i said above, take out all the unnesessary cards that aren't as helpful as others

That sounds like some solid advice, which I will definitely be taking. I appreciate your input and I'll keep it in mind as I build future decks as well. As for the other day, no problem. We all have our off moments, and it was at least nice to know I'd finally made a deck that someone felt was worth commenting on.
On a different note, I like your new burn deck, and found a few cards that might magnify its damage potential quite a bit. I'll post them on the deck's comments just in case they'll be helpful.

I would definitely look into Elrazi Monument....It is essentially a game over if you play it smartly....not to mention, if you add a couple more Wren's in there, you'll have a good flow of little guys to throw out....
Also, I think a Lys Alana Huntmaster would be worthwhile.....If you're using elves already, why not get a few more....

The Lys Alana Huntmaster sounds like a pretty good idea, probably better than the Wren's Run Packmaster, in I'm going to use an Eldrazi Monument. I'll definitely add that on to my deck, and I'll have to hold on to one until the final 6 cards of this deck arrive Friday, so I can try the deck both ways in a real game.
Thanks for the help.

(And just for the heck of it, I'll let it be known that the only decks listed on here that I own are 70% of Golden Power, which needs a redesign, most and soon to be all of this one, and 57 cards of Midnight Sun.)

Be aware that there are plenty of spells that will happily wipe all your elves of the face of the earth at once eg. pyroclasm or volcanic fallout. Perhaps add some colourless mana gain artifacts like dreamstone hedron or thran dynamo.

All in all a very nice deck indeed. Consider protean hydra; there's a card where you can use all your mana at once for a game-ending move!

Thanks for the heads-up. The Protean Hydra sounds like a great idea, actually. I even had one a few months ago, but gave it away, being new enough to the game that I didn't think it was all that strong. Looks like I'll have to get another, then. And also, thanks for the review.

I just finished assenbling the first draft of this deck, and even without the Lys Alana Huntmaster, Coar of Arms, and Protean Hydra, there have been several games already where I've hard-cast Emrakul by turn 8 or 9, and many occasions where I have in the range of 25 mana in one turn even without Omnath, and am able to use all of it. My most recent finish to a game ended with me dealing 60 damage at once with the 7 unblocked elves of my 9 9/9 Shrouded Elves, plus Emrakul letting me do it again, and adding his own 15 damage and Annihilator 6. This is by far the most consistent and speedy deck I can remember building.

After a week of use, this is shaping up to be my best deck yet. Over the past seven days, it's won an average of four out of every five matches I used it in. I think I'm really starting to appreciate the power of Elf decks.
