Black - Recurring Nightmare
Blue - Master Transmuter
White - Magus of the Moat
Red - Inferno Titan
Green - Mossbridge Troll
Colorless - Batterskull

Feel free to elaborate on my question to whatever extent you're okay with doing. If you had a deck that had a "finishing combo" in it with Life's Finale followed by a Grimoire of the Dead activation, what would be a few other cards you'd choose to be in it lower on the mana curve (< 6)? (standard or not). I'm not asking you to build a deck for me don't worry haha. Inspiration is all. :) I was kind of going black and green with my ideas so far.

Nice variation of mine. I'm assuming Ornithopter is there to sacrifice when you play Innocent Blood? It's a good way to go about it, but just having other low cost kill spells might be more effective.

Oh yeah, you can target your opponent can't you. I was honestly just going from memory of that card haha. Guess it's slipping. :P

This deck is hilarious! The amount of trolling you must do with this is unimaginable haha.

Yes, thank you. I forgot about fog of gnats! Dark Ritual's a good plan too. I had to cut a few things to fit it though. I don't really think Sign in Blood would be too helpful. My hand will likely be constantly changing as it is so paying 2 life to put everything on the bottom of my library doesn't seem worth it. Howling Mine is there to keep a healthy hand along with Bloodgift Demon.

Sphinx of the Steel Wind, duh. Doesn't get any more ominously badass than that!

Thanks for the input! Yeah I wasn't sure what to put in place for Victory's Herald. It seemed like a good choice since I wasn't sure what else to put. I replaced the primeval with another Sun titan since increasing the odds for that card isn't a bad thing. I thought white reanimator would be a fun challenge. That and if I actually make this my friends that normally play white will frown at my white deck that functions like a black one lol.

I would not go with green for milling your opponent. That's more for U/G self milling in Innistrad. U/B has plenty to offer so far in standard. Definitely throw in 4 Diregraf Ghouls and some Go For the Throats and/or Doom Blades would do you some good. Vengeful Pharaoh would be a boon to this deck if you're going with Jace's Archivist and Zombie Infestation.

Every starting hand is so perfect! Except when that damned plains is in it. I don't agree. This deck needs more Sex Appeal.

Also, why the Urborgs? I don't see any significant benefit to using them. The Cabal Coffers can be tapped for black, but am I missing something in the mechanics?

I've always been interested in making a shade deck myself, but never really got around to it. As a black mana favouring planeswalker, I salute this beauty!

"OH MAH GAZ! CHECK OUT MAH D3CK!!!11!!" - many posts

lol but seriously, sweet deck ;) Unfortunately the price tag on the competitive archetypes is enough to make me lose interest in making them haha

Nice! This looks pretty sweet now with all those combos! If you haven't played with this deck yet you'll find it takes a while lol. So much shuffling. :P Especially with voltaic key untapping Master Transmuter and getting Sphinx Summoner out repeatedly to search for artifacts.

I'm not sure what you're willing to negotiate on, but check out my esper sphinx deck. The mana base for my design is very solid as well. I have a great hand 90% of the time probably.

Fabricate is good and all, but Sphinx Summoner + Master Transmuter is a pretty sick combo. You've got Sharuum in there already so kudos on that with MT. Some etherium sculptors might do you some wonders as well.

I like it. It's a different flavour of my own zombie mill control :) I would recommend a few Evil Twins. Shapeshifters as copies of whatever your opponent plays and you can destroy them. Hellz to the yeah with Undead Alchemist out.
