I love it. I think the minimalist approach is the future, I mean, an empty deck? that's just a whole new level of awesome....

On a serious note, green ramp has suffered a great deal lately, and in terms of creatures to ramp into you are looking mostly at pricey mirrodin artifacts (blightsteel, empyreon etc.) So if you are going to do this, I strongly suggest a green/white artifact deck (with the appropriate myr and white weenie creatures, you could also include the classic ornithopter+memnite gang along woth some equipment and puresteel paladin. If you then add primeval and sun titans, even your swords can come back from the grave, and you can ramp into some huge metal-munchers. You could also take advantage of some of the new green control cards from innistrad (amush viper is a disgustingly annoying beasty).

Yes. Ok I know it's a mill/extraction deck, but it will happily munch on its opponents life too won't it? Cards like memoricide and surgical extraction are just there to help you look through your opponent's deck and hand, and once you know what your up against, subsequently remove that threat with more of the same, and cards like nevermore.

I debated adding gitaxian probe, witchbane orb (the new leyline of sanctity) and ratchet bomb. If anyone is reading this, I would love some advice on these cards and any others you can think of.

nice, though this deck may have issues concerning the new 'white weenie' rush decks that I am already struggling to beat with my faviorite infect-control deck. As such my only recomendation would be marrow shards, as it can be a true pain in the neck for all those white-weenie players.

I strongly debated noxious revival in the deck, as it seemed like the easiest way to get cards back from the graveyard, I decided against, however, because this deck's primary win mechanic is not to mill itself but to kill the opponent with ridiculous flying creatures. It is surprising how quickly i can pull skaab ruinator and still have the cards to defend it.

I have worked against and with this deck in multi-player, and it still has the ability to finish the game REALLY FAST. However, the chances of somebody having a kill spell or mental misstep are considerably higher, and so this deck relies alot more on what the opponents are using.

If it wasn't for the fatal flaw that one kill spell on turn one or maybe two will destroy this deck's entire early game, yes. None the less it is fast, and against slower or creatureless decks playing it is as good as a win!

I am a friend of mathiasT, and believe me when i say that this thing can be FAST. Also believe me when i say that one kill spell will completely destroy his game 9 times out of 10.

Despite this, when some of our friends played a casual tournament, they did ban MathiasT from using this deck.

I'll leave you to make your own judgmets...

Congratulations!

I knew this deck had potential, but i think you could still make it a bit faster by adding green sun's zenith

Why? because you don't have enough creatures: when playing against this deck, destroying one creature can bring your whole game tumbling down, whereas with a 2 cost re-usable spell you can search for your glistner elfs and the like.

Well done

I like that, but it may interfere with the (already tedious) mana balance!

I will run a few games and see what happens.

I must say that i really like this. I have been trying (and failing) to make my own land-death deck. The only thing i would say is that your win conditions seem a little bit too unreliable.

I dont know, but i would add omnath or something to help finish the game when you cant get the argentum armour (or if somebody destroys it).

Still, I REALLY love this deck, well done!

I like this deck, but you need to definitively decide whether it is trying to play long game or short game.

Yet again, only thing i can say is goblin guide, and maybe wardriver.

Etch champion might work well if the game goes on too long

I am a fan of standard legal, though i really like what you are doing here. The only thing i can suggest is that you add some faster creatures like goblin guide, or some wall to keep you alive whilst you formulate combos.

like the deck.

Seeing as you have the colours and mana ramp anyway, consider addink valakut the molten pinacle for creature removal once yo get going. You can kill things without wasting mana then.
