Flayer husk won't get pumped by Tempered Steel. You're better off running Steel Overseer.

Kuldotha is certainly an inconsistent(hence why I run probes to make it only 56 cards). Blitz hands are the main point of the deck, however. For example, Memnite-Mox Opal-Kuldotha Rebirth-Signal Pest-Goblin Bushwhacker-Mountain-Mountain is a realistic starting hand that deals 16 damage on turn 2. A "God Hand" for this deck, Memnite-Signal Pest-Signal Pest-Goblin Bushwhacker-Kuldotha Rebirth-Mox Opal-Mountain, deals 20 damage turn 2 as long as it draws a land.

You may want to consider running Accorder Paladin as your post-rotation replacement for Steel Overseer. Although he is not pumped by Tempered Steel, goldfishing a deck with him has found that he operates more consistently than Glint Hawk and faster than Hero of Bladehold.

You may want to cut the Bladed Pinions and Viridian Claw. Sword of Vengeance, Sword of Body and Mind and Basilisk Collar are much stronger equipments, and don't bear too high of price tags.

Have you considered Kor Duelist? It is far more efficient than Spiraling Duelist, gives you a 1-drop creature, and doesn't require you to splash for red.

If you are building for the rotation, consider the upcoming Kruin Outlaw, which has both double strike and evasion while in werewolf form.

On another note, if you just took out Fire Covenant and Fervent Charge(maybe use Lightning Bolt and Glory of Warfare instead), this would be Modern legal. Just saying.

Try Goblin Bushwhacker instead of Boros Recruit. It interacts nicely with Boros Swiftblade, and doesn't become a dead draw lategame.

This deck wasn't intended to be goblins- it was intended to be more of a fast midrange deck. Matron isn't legal in Modern- Duel Deck reprintings of cards don't count, and the actual printing of the card was before 8th edition. Thanks for your input, though. Aether Vial could be a consideration in a control-heavy meta. But with Blue losing three of its best cards in the recent ban, I don't know how strong control decks are going to be.

SoFaF would probably be better. I don't think SoFaI is legal in Standard though... it was from the original Mirrodin block.

As the above post said, run black(or at least splash it). Liliana and Diabolic Tutor can help you access your toolbox a lot faster.

One of the best Naya Zoo decks I have seen. I think that the Landfall focus gives it a lot more synergy than other similar builds, such as ones that run Grim Lavamancer. I like this deck a lot.

Its modern legal! You should probably figure out which cards among these would be better in your sideboard, though. Leyline of Sanctity is useless against a lot of decks. Honor of the Pure is good as a 4-of, and so an additional two could replace the leylines.

On another note, 20 lands is too few for a curve with five 5+ CMC drops. You may want to run some extra lands or some mana acceleration.

I like the Day of Judgment interaction with Asceticism and Dauntless Escort. This deck looks like an interesting idea.

Not now. I will be putting my Standard UW Control and my Modern Boros Midrange experiment on tomorrow, however.

This is pure win. If you use Zombie Infestation instead of Conflagrate, you can even play this is Standard:)

In answer to your questions, Hawks can work reasonably well even without heavy equipment usage, as they are a powerful card advantage machine on their own. If you want to use a Cawblade build, though, sub out the Kemba's Skyguard(not a very spectacular creature) and perhaps the Vapor Snags for additional equipments. Sword of Body and Mind and Sword of Vengeance(which you already have) are both excellent equipment choices in standard for under $10, and synergize well with flying creatures.

Indomitable Archangel certainly fills an important mana slot in your deck, but unless you have at least ten or so artifacts, you will not be using the ability very often. You should probably go ahead and use Squadron Hawks instead, and perhaps consider Day of Judgment as your 4-drop on the curve.

Another 4-drop that will help your mana curve is Solemn Simulacrum. If you run it, it will stretch your curve so that you can afford to have more CMC 5+ fliers in your deck.

I looked again and just now noticed that your sideboard lets you transform the deck into a combo deck. That alone should seriously tilt a lot of Game 2's in your favor. Nice work.

Zoo-style aggro in Standard? In UR? This deck sounds crazy, but looks really good. You probably should replace two of the Lavamancers with Fireslingers, though. Good luck.

Looks pretty good. You may want to be careful, though, to not constrain yourself with building for rotation. Steel Overseer and Ornithopter can really help to make this deck strong.
