i counted 3... just saying though, dark ritual doesnt seem very useful in a 3 color deck when you can only use it to play about a 6th of the deck. throw in more lands or more cards to help out your combo

-The dimir infiltrator tutors the mind crank, the dustmantle or demonic tutor.
-I like the ritual for a turn 1 notion theif into a turn 2 windfall.
-Its not really 3 color, I only have 1 enlightened tutor, of which the diamond, petal, or tundra can be used.
-Land wise, with the pedals and diamonds, it seems to be enough. Especially when the notion theif windfall combo goes off, i can dump my hand because of the diamonds.

oh i wasnt counting the dimir infiltrators. i wouldnt think of putting in dark ritual, but that is a sick combo for second turn.

It is pretty nice. Turn 2 they lose their entire hand you gain 14 cards. at that point you can dump a lot on the field via diamonds, petals and rituals.

maybe the tower, or even library of leng...spellbook is a wasted slot in any deck IMO.

Thanks for thoughts on this deck.

Hey man, great deck. I love it. I might change the lands a little. Better work for the cards you have.
2 Marsh Flats
4 Polluted Delta
2 Flooded Strand
1 Tundra
4 Underground Sea
2 Swamp
2 Island
1 Plain

I like Windfall and I see how you use it with Notion Thief but I think maxing out on Mindcrank and Duskmantle and keeping only 1 Windfall and getting rid of Notion Thief all together is better in this occasion while adding 3 cards that do damage like Death Cultist. Yet you already know thats how I roll. Consuming Aberration is a great card but I don't know if its right with this deck. This deck is ment to win and win fast. Aberration is for a slower grind. If you get the combo off which is the only way this deck makes your opponent mill, then the opponent loses all their cards and life and they lose; you'll never get to swing with Aberration. I have no Idea what you would replace him with, maybe more counters. Also I don't know if you need Mox Diamond or Sol Ring, do you feel like you are mana dry? 1 Vampiric Tutor, 1 Imperial Seal and 4 Ponders might be great as well. I don't know, I don't play Classic and I had to double check the restriction list. I hope I helped a little, this is a great deck and I think you can make it truly scary.

Thanks for the input. The moxes and sol ring are great when I draw 14 cards from the notion theif/windfall combo. If it wasnt for that, then there would not be a need for them in here. Although I did play this the last few nights, I did notice that once the mindcrank combo was in place, I did lack the additional '1 damage' needed to finish off the opponent.
that being said, I do play a lot of 2-headed giant, so that's why my mind was stuck on the consuming aberration/notion theif additions (as the games tend to go a little longer), and one cast of any spell (brainstorm, lotus petal) dumps cards in their graveyard from the aberration for the duskmantle.

I guess playing 1 player would need the adjustments you suggested to be a little more reliable. Thanks again.
