16 Decks, 78 Comments, 3 Reputation

Also, I added in the SB some Marsh Casualties. Just for those pesky aggro decks. :)

Although it would be a good thing to put the Skinrenders in mainboard, I am really trying to keep the curve as low as possible. I have 7 three-drops and that is a bit more than i originally planned for. The idea for the deck is the combo that Kalastria Highborn produces with a great chance that the Blade of the Bloodchief will trigger a few times as well.

and with the Pulse Trackers, they are really only there to get some early life lost. Even if the get stomped early, they did their job for one black mana. (and hopefully trigger either of the combo-machines.)

I would just trade the Summoning Traps for Green Sun's Zenith and sideboard the Summoning Traps. I would much rather pay the CMC +1 than miss with a Trap. And if you're going to have Rampant Growth in there and make it an Extended deck, than I would try adding some Prismatic Omens. Or even some Scapeshifts. Maybe even go -1 Avenger of Zendikar -3 Overgrown Battlement +4 Lotus Cobra to jet out your Primeval Titan and your Inferno Titan.

These are obviously just opinions of course. It all depends on the metagame in your area.

No. You are not completely blind at all. The idea behind the deck is to get Prismatic Omen out. Then ALL of your lands are mountains + every other basic land + whatever the land type it is to begin with.

4x island 2x Flooded Grove 3x Valakut = 9 mountains when you play another Valakut.

It's a good deck. pretty big in Extended. A lot of people still run the Primeval Titan build as well.

I like the deck idea. Quite a bit actually. One thing that I thought of while looking at it was maybe having Joraga Treespeaker instead of Birds of Paradise? The Flying is definitely awesome with Overwhelming stampede and having a titan in play ( a 6/7 Birds is nice)... but I think first turn Joraga second turn pump the Joraga into an Explore? Also, maybe have Overgrown Battlement as a sideboard card. For early aggro? I am seeing a lot of Kuldotha decks being made (mine for example). and Boros just top 8'd PT Paris. so you might see a lot of them running around as well.

Definitely take out the Holy Strengths. Maybe add some Knight Exemplars. You're going to want to able to take care of the board as well. Think about adding some Day of Judgement. maybe take out the Hada Freeblades and add some Signal Pests? Other than that, the deck looks great!! lemme know if you end up making it/using it.

Yep, just standard vamps. I tossed around the Inquisition/duress switch. But I guess it just really matters what you're going after. Duress goes after the planeswalkers, where the Inquisition goes after pretty much everything else that is non-land. I guess just testing both out or trying to squeeze them in as well into the SB. Thanks for the comment!!

I really don't understand the Elixir in this deck. I don't really think that you will want to waste 3 mana (1 to cast, 2 to activate) on gaining 5 life. When 3 mana in a deck like this can do much more damage. Maybe take those out and add some Panic Spellbombs to draw a card with when you pop your rebirth (that sounds gross). Also, if not completely changing them out, I would just sideboard 4 arc trails to rotate out the Galvanic Blast. The only downside is it being a sorcery. But if you're in the mirror, or playing some Boros-type deck, you'll want that added damage. This deck looks GREAT though. Good job.

Take out the Diabolic Tutors and add 2 ornithopters. Everything else is awesome.

I like some of the ideas you have going here. At first I didn't like the Ichor Wellspring. But after thinking about it, it isn't terrible. I would think about putting in some furnace celebrations. Also, I think the Kuldotha Flamefiend is a bit mana heavy. It is an insane card, but doesn't really play well in this deck. And I think the Bladed pinions are just dead in the water. 2 to cast and 2 to equip seems a little slow. I would suggest taking out the Kuldotha Flamefiends and adding some straight gasoline in terms of Lightning Bolts.

Another Idea would be to take out black completely and just keep it all white. That leaves you a lot of slots to work with. and it will ultimately fix your mana. I would even look into adding something like Sejiri Steppe or even better, Brave the Elements. (plus, with making all of your creatures white it will greatly benefit your brave the Elements). also, check out Mimic Vat. It's a really cool way to make sure you have your Knight Exemplar out if it goes to the grave yard. :D But anyways. I like the deck. it's fun.

I like the idea here. Cool Knights. I would switch out the Holy's and Unholy's with Honor of the Pure's and some more pumps. I feel as if the auras are a bit tedious. I would rather have a global enchantment then a single aura.

I agree with Addisondaivs. It would benefit you greatly to add more of certain cards (unless you are watching the ole budget). With having cards like Baloth Woodcrasher, it would be more efficient to have something that doesn't need landfall to be good. i.e. Primeval Titan, or even Terra Stomper.
