Essentially the mires are like drawing a card, as it thins out your deck. One less card, as the mire searches a swamp.

Thank you, I really like the creatures as well
I'm even thinking of that, AND ditching all the crowns and scepters. Yes 5 soldiers with the throne is awesome, but I think the 4 spots may be better used for some early control. What to add though? Maybe some white instants that add tokens? Or a Beloved Champlain would be nice, even though he goes bye bye with humility in a way.
ohhh STELLAR Thank you!
Honestly, I don't really need anymore 4-5 casting cost cards. I need to add something to help me in the early game. In a multiplayer game your pretty much a siting target for a few turns until you get out some thunderstaffs. Thats why I'm debating putting in something to stem the tide early. Or even a ponder for draw capabilities. Its cheap, and will allow me to get cards quicker. Its why I have the side board of the Isochron Scepter and the other cards in my sideboard. I'm considering adding some of them them in place of x2 Leonin, 1 crown, 1 scepter, 1 caltrops, 1 wrath, and 2 leonin. A scepter with enlightened tutor or angels grace! :D
you only need one out, and I have 4 enlightened tutors to search for it. I considered putting one less actually.
Ya, I just switched because I added blue. Worried now I may have mana problems though. I may take them out for another honor of the pure and some glorious anthem....
Oooh, Bident is nice, it really fits the theme, and I could easily add blue...hmmmmm
Ya Goblin Diplomats as well but its red and a creature. I'll do a search in the gatherer.
I like the idea behind caltrops, but it hurts your creatures as well when you attack. Yes it will stop someone from attacking you as their creatures will die, but the Thunderstaff essentially does the same thing. They attack you, and you don't bother to block because they will do no damage. What makes thunderstaff better is if you have 2 out, you can tap one to give all your creatures +1/+0. Now if I added a card that forced people to attack, then caltrops would be awesome in this deck. :D
Ya I definitely think if you could cast the upheaval, it would probably be game over. ;) Yes, devastation tide would be a good choice as well! Thanks again for the input.
Also, I like the idea of a big reset button, but upheaval is a bit expensive. Especial since this deck has no way to generate more mana. I liked the idea though and to me, wash out seems a much better fit. It doesn't hurt you and its much cheaper. Yes its only one color but I think it would be more effective.
Yes same here. I quit playing magic when this deck was popular. Imagine my happiness when I found that in a few years FOW went up to like $75 bucks a pop! Im in the process of upgrading all my old decks and this one is up.
Thanks for the advice. The anvil seems like it would fit my deck, but I hate helping the opponent by giving them an extra card, I mean yes they have to discard. You think it's worth it?
My poor pestilence. I so love the card, but yet again logic trumps. I'm thinking I can still keep the theme, your creatures go bye bye with Anowon! Plus it still work in multiplayer. He will just be the pestilence. I'm thinking also I agree with sangromancer. I can pull out the Baron's. He is just awesome, but I'm liking it. Going to update. Thank you.
Im thinking Rancor or Loxdon War hammer over the rights of flourishing. You could fit in 2-3 war hammers and 3-4 rancors if you drop your forests to 22 and swap out rites of flourishing. Honestly, you'll win by the time you ever able to search out all 24 land, and the two spots are much better used for some trample/lifegain cards. Also, Pellaka worm seems very expensive for what it does, I'd consider swapping some out for a Verdant Force or even a dauntless dourbark.
Yes, I think the bloodghast is going to win out. Also, the Bloodghast comes back without having to spend mana. I haven't tested it yet, but sometimes logic doesn't need to be tested, I think I will make the switch. Soul Stair seems solid, ill put it into consideration.
done! Also, I like the bloodline because it makes 2/2s to sacrifice, and eventually will all give vamps +2/+2. You think the sangromancers life gain trumps that ability? Or maybe a 2 and 2 situation?
Excellent advice thank you! Honestly a complete duuuh moment on the Neither traitor not being able to block.
Ok the possible switches are in the sideboard. Im going to test a few options out to see how it runs. Thanks again and I'll keep the results updated.
