Lifespark is good, that's for sure ^_^

I'll give it a whirl with the Petal - I played this, an elder version, against an Oloro deck - I went 3-0 no sweat

I also found a single Horizon Spellbomb, thought I'd give it a shot =)

I had a narrow idea as to which the Petal would be beneficiary, I'll definitely add one ^_^

Thanks for the quick response, SWN. Are you all set for Xmas?

What's your opinion on Mirrorworks and/or Lotus Petal for recurring mana fixing, and doublets of artifacts?

I have both in binders, but I'm not so familiar with the Glissa effect and how she works in battle

Hey Jens =)

This looks mad-good ! Balthor is a house in this !

I don't know what, or how for that matter, to give any advice on Zombie-Combie's, but since you're running Crucible of Worlds, why not throw in a Strip Mine for maximum opponent agony? It's only illegal in the French format of EDH ^_^

If you're finding it difficult to deal with Planeswalkers, then I'd highly recommend Hex Parasite. I know you're relying on GY help, but in a pinch, you could save a critter or two, from dying via a used Undying effect

On another note, is it wrong to imagine Balthor the Defiled and Irini Sengir hookin' up?

I'm glad to have helped you ^_^

Actually I'm a bit jealous of this EDH-deck, heh. There are more than a few cards I could use, and it's very budget.

Cool, man.

Sure, man ^_^
Land Fetch is never a bad thing, there's also the possibility that one's library will be milled in a single turn (I've seen this more than once, and it's frightening 0.0) So means to look at no-mill; Elixir of Immortality and such can save your behind from being kicked apart, and also it serves as a library re-build.

This is going to sound weird, but here I go.

Before I stepped into the world of EDH, I used to think that Legacy was the prime format to be playing, but man was I ever so wrong!

Been playing M:tG for a while, but when I tried EDH for the first time, my mind was blown - It's not as competitive as Standard/Modern/Legacy, quite the contrary. You choose to aid a friend in need, and just maybe that friend will save your next critter, which was just about to die, or, maybe you're lucky, that the killing blow is prevented, allowing you to take out a player next turn.
Trust me. If you *ever* doubted, that original M:tG could (or should) be something.. more..? Then EDH is right up your alley.

Also, being set at 40 life you'll see combo's so original, so costly (mana-wise), so mindblowing you'll question yourself if the traditional, fast-paced, competitive Magic, really is any fun.

Where I usually play, my group all-together jumped ship from original M:tG and are now solely focusing on EDH.
And since it's a casual format, you won't have to feel bad, if you made a wrong decision, you just ask for permission, undo, then redo your first intended move - no one's going to shout at you or laugh at you when you make a mistake.

It's a whole other format, for me, the one true format, and the only thing I regret about EDH, is not knowing about it before ^_^

Oh, and don't be sad, if you find it hard to get the cards - Proxy, for the test, then, if it works out, see if someone has a few copies to trade - I still have a few proxies and that's a-okay ^_^

Looks very solid, Ded, but you're missing a few key cards, which are in, almost, any EDH's nowadays

Sol Ring

Your Commander's Signets

Board-wipes

and lastly
A few draw engines can swing you the game in your favor, but if you and your mates are in it for the lols and politics, the I'd highly recommend:

Forbidden Orchard - a great manafixer, and can help one of your friends whom's in a tight spot.

But it's a helluva beginners deck ! I'll give you that. My first got nothing on this, so kudos, man.

Hope I've helped you out ^_^
Cheers

I hate to break it to ya' but Wrath of God still affects Gaea's Revenge, since WoG has no targets, however! If you could make Gaea's Revenge Indestructible, then it will only die of non-target sac spells, and/or -X/-X

But it's still a good card, since it can't be countered AND has Haste - that's very good pro's ^_^

Props for making a budget Ob ^_^

A great card, for tempting to get target opponent to search his or her library, and, in fact, destroying any kind of land, is 'Ghost Quarter'
And I do believe it's low-costed to boot :D

+1 from me

Imagine an 'Unwinding Clock' in this O.O;

Also, most whom run's Tron (Urza Lands), usually have 'Vesuva' and 'Thespian's Stage' to go supersonic with mana

Looks good none-the-less ^_^

Cheers

Seconded - And I'd listen to whatever DedWards has to say, he's a major Modern Elf player and knows a lot about those particular subjects ^_^

Since you're running W/G I'd heavily suggest 'Mercy Killing' - also, it can be used as a last resort of enemy-removal

Looks like a fun Elf deck to play. Although I'd like it more trimmed, I can see the fun in playing this ^_^

As d3Necromaster suggested, the Archdruids are auto-include's, but another addition I'll suggest: 4 x Priest of Titania - She will win you games, and a more fun card to play incase of mirror-match ^_<

I'd remove Lys Alana Huntmaster and maybe 1 x Drove of Elves for a ps of the Priest.

Lastly; have you given Ezuri, Renegade Leader any thought? He is a house of a card, when you go 20+ Mana, also attacking with everything you've got, then regenerate the entire bunch via Elvish Archdruid - oh, the glorious destruction T-T

Cheers

Damn this looks good - and what a saxy curve to boot!

Dare I ask - where have you've been? Everything okay?

This is so evil, my friend. Can't count the number of times it have brought me down. You get a well-deserved +1 from me.

Master of the Feast comes to mind, maybe instead of your Sengir's (they have been out-shone by Vampire Nighthawk etc.) or maybe Ensnaring Bridge for a full lock-down.

Awesome job, K

Looks good my friend ^_^ Ready to kick some behind in the nearest future.

I'd suggest a few cards that comes to mind;

'Path to Exile'
'Hero's Downfall'
and maybe a few counter spells
There are also a few white and black counterspells
'Rebuff the Wicked'
'Dash Hopes'
'Mana Tithe' and so forth

Good luck with your deck, man
Oloro is a beast!

The last and definitive card for this EDH have now been ordered - Teferi, Temporal Archmage - and the reason for this, being one of the last cards I'll order for this, is because: MY WIFE IS PREGNANT ! :'-D We are going to have a child around April 28th. and we are so excited - but alas, this means my purchase of paper will be reduced, so yesterday, I ordered the last cards for a *very* long time, since baby (we know not if it's a he or she yet) will require much attention and since we are a bit poor, all resources will go to it - and that is a-okay fine-diddely-ine by me.

So, I'll post the change when the card is updated on the vault - it will be:

- Platinum Angel
+ Teferi, Temporal Archmage

I'll still check up on the vault from time to time, and see if I can help with anything ^_^

Cheers dudes and dudettes

TNN is downright nasty - I've been pounced and beat to a pulp by that card more times than I care to remember, heh. Seeing this makes me wanna build a BUG EDH ASAP (sorry for the assault of abbreviations) but, building new EDH's is not on my to-do-list for a very long time. I'll explain soon enough ^_^
I know that you've seen my Athreos and Thassa, could I perhaps ask for your opinion on those? The reason is, that they are most likely the last decks I'll collect (I own them both irl and they do fine, just need some last-minute tune-up's)
