Cool 8-) Do you think he is a so-called 'Dark Horse?' And will explode in price?

"We´re solemnly on our way to castles in the air" - look at Serra's Sanctum and see if you get the prequel story line which is in this deck.

How has Blood Scrivener worked out for you?

I think it´s awesome, the way you can get 'Morbid' every turn. Also, Demons can and will mess with you, or your mind, or both. And to me, this is no exception. Very well put together =) Have you thought of adding Griselbrand to the mix? Or maybe an Elbrus, just to squeeze the living Hell out´a someone? ]:-}

Yeah, I´ve sometimes wondered how lucky we are, to be a part of precisely *this* world. *This* moment in time. To have near-infinite possibilities and to be lucky enough to have the gift of free choice. Considering all that, makes the painful truth, much more painful. To be able to see the splendors in this timeline, I don´t believe that´s a beautiful lie, yet still I understand the quote - confusing, huh...
And then, what if the painful truth is just the beginning of a thousand new lies?

Yeah, deep sh*t

I couldn´t help but feeling a bit sad. A painful truth indeed. Do you think that dementia is a natural protection system, so that when you (hopefully) grow old, the painful truth isn´t as paining?

It is all good in my book. I´ve built something similar in the past, and if you´re worried about the dual prices, then I´d highly recommend 'Lush Growth' for the Puss Puss =) a turn two 3/3 is not bad ~_^

No, no, I mean for controlling your opponent =) Leonin Arbiter makes it so that "Player´s can´t search libraries" - which shuts down a ton of decks =)

I like Maralen as a commander - yet I´ve not played a single game of EDH, but she´s just like; No. No more ice cream. I wonder if it´s because of her you didn´t include Skullclamp? Also, if you´re in dire need of land fall, the I highly recommend 'Ghost Town' from Tempest. That very same card helped me by being dual-purposed; LZ for recurring critters and avoiding a nuke (edit: Land Destroy)

Do you know any archetype, besides EDH, where Maralen is the center of attention?

I think this deck would benefit greatly with a White Sun's Zenith for a crazy amount of felines =) Also I´d SB two or 3 Leonin Arbiter if you´re playing competitive. Almost everyone I´ve played against has had some sort of library search. Arbiter will stop that to great lengths.

Cool kitty deck you´ve got

Looks good and I bet it feels awesome to play. A nice addition, and a mini-combo with Sorin, is 'Guul Draz Vampire'. I have a vamp deck much like this one, and she became monstrous when opponent was @ 10 life. Plus, the art is sexy :-}

Bahaha, looove that title name, haha :'-D

If you have the dough, then I´d highly recommend Aether Vial to 'cheat' in some of your powerhouses.

Nevertheless you get a Like from me :D

Hiya Jens - I´m thrilled that I could help you with some deck inspiration :D How has it been treating you? I aborted my mission to build it though, don´t have that kind of money, and even if I did, my wife would make a savings account with it for darker days, haha.

Same here. Can´t really adjust to the climate change, but i Denmark there is *never* good weather. We tend to complain about everything; "Too cold, I´m freezing" or "Too hot, I´m sweating" or "Too windy, my house is gone" well, maybe not that last part, but the emotional changes caused by the weather can affect me like cutlery scraping a plate.

But other than that things are great :D Just need to deal with the ending of the melancholic, yet joyous winter, so as you said it yourself; Weird, but good, hehe ^_^

Det er ikke så ringe endda ;-)

Yes ! My first creation was also a sac deck :D It got my friends all in an uprising when I pulled it from my bag, haha. Stuff like "Oh god, not *that* one" and "No. I refuse to play with you" were commonplace, ^_^
The cards above is a lot like the original (I returned to M:tG around Zendikar from a loooong break) a wee bit tweaked, but it run´s alright :D

Btw, Jens. Good to hear from you again - how are things?

Cheers

Thank you, the both of you ^_^
Yes, it meant to be played for an all-out sac engine. I know it´s a broken combo, but dang I´d really like if Skullclamp got unbanned.

Looks good, sure. As always =)
If I had the cash, man . . .

I think 'Dark Prophecy' from the core set, could give you some card advantage.

I would also suggest 3 or a full ps of Fetch lands to take the heat off Undiscovered´s and aid the Ghasts. They just keep coming
