Deck Description

A few years ago I dabbled with splashing blue into Deadguy Ale for Snapcaster and really enjoyed playing the deck in a couple modern tournaments. Turn 1 duress, 2 Hymn or TidehollowSculler, 3 Snap duress etc was generally a lot of fun. At the Same time I was dabbling with U/W/R Delver in standard and was really impressed with Delver and Geist of St Traft.

This deck is an idea at merging the creatures from U/W Delver with the discard disruption black brings to the table. Upgrades to single mana black discard of IoK or Thoughtseize would be an upgrade although the Thoughtseize damage along with the fetch lands could get a little hairy.

Depending on the draw I'm thinking the deck could either start out focusing on hand disruption or with an aggressive draw it could go straight to Delver and Geist as an agro deck using counters and discard to keep your threats in play.

Deck discussion for Esper Delver Modern

This deck is also very strong.I think that Spell Pierce might be better than Negate here. Costing only U is a big advantage, although Negate is probably better things to go to late game. I am surprised that you are not running one of your Swords. If you stick one on a spirt flyer you are hard to beat. Also, Dismember might be good here, as it kills almost everything and is flexible to cast. http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=230082

Just like with the Grisix one I think you should look at Inquisition of Kozilek.
Besides that the other thing that would really help you are the Shock lands, since you can grab them with your fetch lands. http://mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Shock_lands

The fact that Water Grave counts as a Island and a Swamp is what makes it so good. You can always fetch the exact colors you need if you have some of these and some Fountains. This is why they are better than the Caves and the Shores.

I'll have to see if I can find or trade for the shock lands but I was just looking at the previous tide hollow esper deck and revised the mana base with fetid heath and marsh flats.

The website is www.pucatrade.com
Here is a very good guide that I found to using it. http://www.gatheringmagic.com/nickdavis-012114-pucatrade-quickstart-guide/
I have found that the google chrome page activity extension described on the second link is the key to using the site. The strange thing about the website is that it is a race to send your cards away. Since it is generally hard to sell your cards for full value, people jump at the chance to be able to send their cards away for the puca points, since they can be redeemed for almost anything.
