Deck discussion for Skittles, Taste the Blight Dragon

EDH is a removal Heavy format. When people realize you're running a deck with only your General as a creature, and only need to deal 10 damage to finish some one, you'll find Skittles will never see play long enough to attack.

Why is there no Dark Ritual / Sensei's Divining Top?

I was concentrating on equips mainly for humor's sake (it amused me). I will throw the top in but will that dark ritual be good in edh? It doesn't seem very....reusable. I don't know. Would Cabal coffer's-esk card or something like that be more useful? I put bubbling muck in because that can be broken late game. I'm new to EDH and this is kind of a "what if" deck i might make. Oh and for the removal I'm hoping to tutor for shroud effects. I'm only afraid of him getting shuffled into my deck or getting lignified >.>

Rituals are always good to have around. The more mana you can get, the more you can do. You can check out my profile for 2 other EDH decks to get a better idea of what an EDH deck might look like. Generally, you either grab a General that acts as some kind of Combo, or one that's just a powerful creature in colors for a lot of possible control elements / disruption. You also have to keep in mind that EDH was built as a multiplayer format so defense is pretty important.

There we go I threw those two in there, the ritual replaced a land and the top replaced a joke kill spell. I think this deck would be a fun one(kinda like group hug) even if i don't win =D
