Im building something with the same idea. except i ended up swapping Doorkeeper for Hover Barrier, all 4 fog banks.(Axebane posinless if your defenders don't have beef to take a hit) and added Nicol Bolas because its just fun. No one sees him coming and this deck could drop him by lucky turn 4, 5 easy. I found Axebane Guardian just seemed to make the Lantern almost pointless for me. Cackling Counterpart to clone Axebane for faster ramp. (its a broken instant, with flashback) think about it... but my concept relies on Axebane a little to much though, you mite have the better idea. still working on it.

Yeah, Thornbite Staff results in pretty broken infinite loops.

I use a Myr matrix with a Mana Echoes. After you get 5 Myr in play its an Infinite token & mana loop.
