How to Play

Tips on how to excel in your own production of Progenitus: The Musical!

"Swingin' to Kill!"
Elesh Norn is great for this, but other great options include Craterhoof and Mirari's Wake

"Get Up, Stand Up"
Self explanatory - save for later when you don't have a boardstate or until somebody wrath's the board.

"Now for Something Completely Different"
Most people run decks with about half as many permanents as you. Use this to your advantage. It may screw with your board state, but it screws with everyone else's harder. Really fun card to play, as it usually helps you rather than hurts you.

"Can't Stop This Feeling"
Like Warp World, Primal Surge is this deck's forte. Lots of permanents so you have lots of targets.

"And The Lord Said, Bringeth It"
See above.

"Where Have You Gone, My Friend"
Get this out with Amulet of Vigor out and you have an unexpected immediate threat. If you have enough mana, pop this puppy ASAP.

"Suffocation"
Try to get Maralen out on the end phase before your turn with Quicksilver Amulet or Vedalken Orrery, then search for Stranglehold on your draw step.

***Other Optional Numbers***
1. Bloom Tender + Five Colors on Board (Progenitus) + Fist of Suns = Tap Tender, Play a dude
2. Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage = 2 mana 20/20 with flying
3. You can play Progenitus for 5 mana consistently with Fist of Suns. Abuse this.
4. Your answer to a big boardstate is to have a bigger one. (Alternatively, Oblivion Stone and Rise of the Dark Realms)
5. Remember: The non-permanents in the deck are the win conditions.
6. Progenitus is always a threat. 10 commander damage really hurts. Abuse this for board politics. Who says aggro decks can't be diplomatic?
