An almost solely M12 deck inspired by the synergy between Gideon Jura and the other two cards containing his name. I want to make this good enough in standard to do some damage because I spent enough money on it! :P Any suggestions or pointers would be great.

I think there's no need for leonin skyhunter and elite vanguard. Try adding 4x vault skirge coz its condidered as 1cc with flying and lifelink. Also u might want to make your lands to 24 and make gideon jura 4x. And having spellskite is essential because its like all your other creatures have shroud.you might also want to consider swiftfoot boots, its another staple for decks like these. Hope I helped. :)
You know I'd always ignored Vault Skirge as I pulled numerous copies in various packs but now that you mention it I'm really wondering why. As for the Gideon thing that was always a plan for when I get more money. It's a pain for me to order things because I'm in Canada so shipping costs thirty bucks every order and I have a girlfriend hounding me about money. I plan on being sneaky and getting around to it soon though and you having the same idea only reinforces that idea. How many Spellskites or boots would you recommend? You seem to know your stuff! I'm not completely sure why you have Inkmoth Nexus in the deck as none of your other creatures have infect. If you want a land that you can turn into a creature (hard to remove) I would go with Dread Statuary instead.
The infect isn't for doing damage but rather for defense; particularly flying defense. I was studying the block constructed stuff from early June and every deck had inkmoth if for no reason other than to block other inkmoths. My prediction is that when Zendikar block rotates this will become a more common trend. I see what you mean and I have four Dread Statuarys sitting around but at least until I get to play test I want to keep inkmoth in. I appreciate the comment though.
Inkmoth is still pretty decent. It can be alternative win condition and can swing on PWs because it has evasion. Add like 3 spellskites and atleast 2 swiftfoot boots. Spellskite is a must hehe its a pain in the ass against all othet decks. It can also steal that friggin splinter twin.
i really like it, but there are some cards in there that do throw me for a loop. namely the sword, inkmoth, and vault skirge. I definitely love the gideon theme, it's very fun, and abolisher is an awesome card. :) however, I thinking running more stave off and/or like porcelain legionnaire would be good plans. inkmoth i can see working b/c you don't have a ton of flying, but with so much tapping down, i don't see that as such a huge problem to begin with. also, only 2of gideon jura? i'd run at least 3, possibly 4 as you don't have any CA in white.
Finally got my cards for this deck and it is a heck of a lot of fun. Taking it to its first fnm tomorrow so hopefully it will fair ok.
How did this deck at the FNM you went to? I had an idea similar to this and was wondering if it was worth building?
